Premium Chinese Resto (Best In Town) @ Los Angeles (Rosemead). 2019 L.A 😋 Michelin. Sea Harbour Serves High Quality Cooking (From Dim Sum In The Afternoon To HongKong Style Ala Carte Dinner Menus). Dined Here Many Times 😍 Recommended.
I've never craved anything like I crave good dim sum. It aches and irks like that itch in the middle of your back between the shoulder blades that you just can't reach. Once in a while, it just needs to be scratched. You can't scratch that itch without help, just like you can't clean this steaming plate of soft soy tendon and chewy honeycomb tripe alone. Phone at least one friend to share with.
Best fish dish in town!. I always search for a place that have the fish dishes that taste close to the authentic Hongkong food. Sea Harbour is the only place that can delivered the taste that I familiar with! Of course the price is a little bit more than most Chinese restaurant but you get what you pay for!!!
Good food but a bit pricey, their fish is always perfectly cooked and their award winning chef has a lot of good dishes that can be recommended by their knowledgeable waiters
Better quality of dimsum. order by waiter,no people walking with food carts. during lunch expect to wait 10-15min. price is higher than your regular dimsum place.
Sea Harbour does not utilize the dim sum carts seen on this blog before - Quentin ordered us a feast! Many dumplings, both steamed and fried…
Before the dawn of Eating L.A., I had dim sum on my birthday two years ago at Sea Harbour. I returned today with Tara and John and their friend Peter, the sommelier at Norman's. Of course he had brought two interesting bottles of white wine, which at firs
Everything was hot out of the kitchen, even towards the end of lunch. The next increment up would be to fly to Hong Kong. If you’re in the area be sure to check out this restaurant, it is worth the trip.
Overall pretty great. The steamed rice noodle with shrimp and shrimp dumplings are plump as must gets. The deep fried smelts are filled with roe and are super crunchy. The steamed chicken feet are super tender and fall apart. The pork and shrimp dumplings with truffle are also nice. The bbq pork pastry has numerous flaky layers but tastes rather plain. Skip the dry scallop and meatball congee which pretty much uses no scallops. Really wish they had taro dumplings. 12pm noon is pretty much peak time
The magic was gone. What remained was the price. I don’t know if it’s the Covid-19’s or what but foods were not the same. It was undoubtedly better than some but for the price you got to wow my pant off like before.
I hadn't been here in a long while and believe they are under new ownership. The place was crowded so there was a bit of a wait.
The dim sum was superb. I tried a green colored pork bun that was dyed green though I still prefer the more common white bao filled with tsa tsu.
The dim sum is exceptional.
One of my favorite dim sum places in LA, definitely worth it to try! The puff pastries are especially fragrant, crisp, and delicate!
The egg tarts, fried durian, and the salty egg steamed buns are my favorites. My boys love the shumai! Always have been my go to dim sum place.
Great dim sum, favorite was the pandan dumpling thing. Service is speedy, they turn over their tables fast! Which can also be a little off putting especially when you're not familiar as to how to order. Tried chicken feet for the first time, flavor profile amazing, texture (not my cup of tea) but I gave it a chance
Pricey dim sum. It gets busy here so come early. Ordered Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce, shrimp dumpling, pork & shrimp dumpling with truffle sauce, radish cake with assorted preserved meat, sticky rice wrapped with lotus leaf, shrimp dumpling with chives, steamed bbq pork bun, house no. 1 baked bbq pork bun, and deep fried sesame balls... All of the dishes tasted good.
Food was good. Prices are reasonable. There's a language barrier so try to be patient. There's always a crowd and I've always waited 15 - 60 minutes for a table. Clean and quick service. No nonsense. Just good food.
