I visit Don Sal about every 1-2 months, sometimes every other week, whenever I’m in the area, and I have been doing that for years. Usually end up there around 2-3pm. Food is great, service is very friendly. To get more authentic Mexican food you’d have to cross the border. Table-side guacamole is always a great treat/show, and La Sal Margarita is a awesome.
Let me start with saying that I Love Sal's! The food is Excellent ! The prices are great! The atmosphere is wonderful ! We have breakfast almost every Sunday here. The stuffed french toast is Sooooooo good! Whenever we have out of town company we take them to dinner at Sal's because we know they will love the food as much as we do. Thank you for having such a family friendly restaurant with delicious food!
Had dinner here tonight! Great Mexican food. Tasty options small or large options. Karaoke Friday nights. Open until 9pm weekdays Friday Saturday until 10pm. Bar/Restaurant tables served with chips/salsa/beans n cheese. Tasty. I will definitely return. Homemade food. Not a fast food restaurant
On a Sunday, up for some delicious menudo. I recommend it. Very kind people family oriented .
Great service! Waiter Jackie was very kind. All the waiters were very helpful. The D.J. played good music. Good atmosphere and will be back. I got shrimp over rice, one of the employees' recommendations, and it was amazing!
Went in ahead of our party requesting and giving ample time to secure a large enough setting, went to bar to wait it took about 10 min to even be served at the bar there wasn't anyone tending then about 20 min after we had to ask about our table and they apparently forgotten because they scrambled to figure something out after being seated and we ordered they forgot my daughters order she was brought her food after bringing to the waitress attention that they hadn't served her main course she had been sitting eating her salad patiently my fault for not noticing and bringing it up sooner but she was getting her food about the time everyone was getting close to finishing , I understand there was alot going on alot of people but not that many that they couldn't manage 8 peoples orders at 1 table with one check food was good though but not worth $260.
I’ve been going here a while, both dine in and take out, and I’m mostly always pleased with the food and service. I will say however it does seem like the cooks are inconsistent. Most times the food is muy delicioso, other times it’s very bland and made incorrectly. I see some of the one star ratings and I can see why they would write that if they went on an off night. Please, las margaritas, take note and make sure all your cooks are on the same page.
The food was sooooo good. I had the shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans. It was really tasty they were a little stingy with the rice and beans for the price of the food, but overall it was delicious!!
The woman who greeted me at the door and served me is a natural host. I ordered a burrito with pork al pastor and it was absolutely delicious. I was also impressed with their table salsa, one of the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, I was just driving through and probably won't be through here again for a long time but, it is a place I will remember and look forward to when I get the opportunity to return.
Friendly service. Nice to have chips and salsa when waiting for your food. Menudo is delicious with homemade tortillas. Good price for the size.
I went here a week ago and was surprise to find this place under new owner/ management and a revamped menu. When I first went in the atmosphere was of a happy fiesta and we were greeted and seated fast. I ordered the family taco plater and it was delicious and neatly presented. Love the extra free refills on aguas frescas, horchatas etc. Most restaurants do not offer free refills on those types of drinks. Waiter was very nice and attentive. Waiting time was like 15 minutes for food to come in but in the mean time we enjoyed endless chips and salsa with refried beans. Clean bathrooms and ample parking. I recommend you check them out.
Food was amazing and staff was super friendly! I placed my order over the phone and was ready when I got there. Even allowed a Margarita to go! Definitely recommend.
