Have eaten here a few times since moving to town and it's become a favorite! Love the laid back atmosphere and good diner food. Servers are always really nice and the portion sizes are huge.

The wayside cafe is a good option for the limited selection of restaurants in Rosamond. The decor is a bit dated, but the food is good. You get a decent portion and the quality is good. The operating hours are a good feature opening early in the morning as other breakfast places in the area open much later. The skillets are a unique to this place in the local area. They are well balanced and will certainly fill you especially if you get the biscuits and gravy instead of the toast. The cost has risen in more recent times as most places have. They still offer a good value and I will return to this location.

Staff are always super friendly and timely. The food is also delicious! Personally, I would recommend the wayside sampler, it comes at a great price ( around 12 or 13 bucks I believe) and a ton of food that usually ends up leaving me with leftovers. They check in with their guest frequently and it's an overall great place in Rosamond!

I’m originally from South Texas where we have country gravy and biscuits, but coming here to wayside café “WOW” it was awesome, the chicken fried steak was to die for. I really appreciate you guys with the awesome customer service and you didn’t treat me like a customer, you guys treated me like family.
I will be back soon and I’m bringing along some friends, once again thank you for your great food and awesome customer service.
