Capitol Bistro & Bar

We sat at the bar for our visit. Sara the bartender was friendly and makes a good drink. She works hard to keep a clean bar and tend to guests. I had the bloody Mary. It was a nice pour!!! Our meal was fried cheese curds and wings. The cheese curds were delicious with a tasty marinara sauce. The chicken wings were amazing (I'm not a big wing fan) and huge! We had the Asia Thai sauce. Outstanding! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked yummy.

Place is a bit smaller than it looks from the outside. Called ahead of time for a 8+ party and they accommodated! Was packed but wait didn't take long (seat yourself setup). Seemed like they only had one host/server and she was great and kept up with everyone. Food was good! Great selection of cocktails and beer. Would visit again. The weather was pretty cold being end of April, but it looks like they will have outdoor seating again.

The service was terrible we had to wait and extremely long time for our food. The waitress kept disappearing the whole time. It's surprising that there's only one server for the entire restaurant. So naturally food came out cold, if at all. All of our hot food was served cold. While it took forever for a turkey club. Seriously how long does it take to make a turkey club? It's not like you have to cook it. We were never offered drinks. Other members of my party were missing items that they ordered. The waitress came over and took our order without writing it down so naturally she forgot things. Everyone's food came out cold my steak was not not cooked well and it was cold I asked if she could please warm it up she came back with the steak warm but the rest of my food cold. Everyone else at the table was not really pleased with their meal. The table were sticky the salt and pepper shaker filthy. It leaves you to wonder if you're not cleaning the tables thoroughly there's good chance the rest of the restaurant is not clean. Even after we received our check we waited and waited for the server to come back and collect the money she never did. Eventually I had to walk over to the bar area and ask someone to get her. Unfortunately there's not a lot of food options in the area.
