Mr Ribs

Mr Ribs is a fantastic rib joint! They know how to cook fork tender ribs with a great sauce . My wife always has their steaks and they are charcoal grilled to perfection. The place only has one waitress..but she works her butt off keeping everyone happy .. tea pitchers are left on your table and are always full ! The place has a funky 70's vibe .. little lights on the big wide booths ..smoke waffling through the air .. every since we rediscovered this place it's become one of our favorite places. First of all,I should've gone with my initial instict to leave. As soon as I walked in there was an old musty,gas smell. I haven't been in over 20 yrs and I promise, the only things changed were the light bulbs. The dated atmosphere is fit for the bland,overly sauced food. And who serves chewy toast anyway? We were a party of 5 and I promise,we left 75 percent of the food on the plates. Gordan Ramsey needs to overhaul this place. Unfortunately, I didnt see the 92 restaurant grade until I left.

Ordered 3 beef rib dinners. All 3 were burnt and uneatable. To add insult to it they just tried to slather it in an ungodly amount of bbq sauce. We called to try to explain the situation and the lady that picked up the phone completely rude and unprofessional. She told us that she doesn't know what we expect her to do about that. A simple our mistake let us rectify the situation, bring your food back, something. Horrible experience. I hope their management knows

I have had a lot of BBQ from around the country and Mr. Ribs was a major disappointment in fact I would put it in the top worst BBQ I have ever had. I should have turned around when I walked in the door but I have a thing for the road side dive places. Where do I start the prices are way out of line for the quality of food. I had the rack of ribs with a salad bar. The salad bar was really basic nothing great but it was good. The ribs well that is another story. They tasted like they had been smoked the day or days in advanced and put in the fridge and reheated. The sauces where not bad but they could not cover up the failure of those ribs. It took alot to pay that bill at the end since half my food went back. I will not be going back..
