Simply the best homemade ice cream around! The owner is hands-on and takes great care to produce top quality, freshest products. Conveniently located near Orange Theory Fitness and Cycle Insanity, a great excuse to work out and eat more ice cream.
The best ice cream in the world! The smores flavor is the best because it's chocolate based! My family and I love it here!
It is a nice place!! Icecream menu was diverse and creative. The flavors were great! The service was amazing! My daughter told me her teacher recommended she tried the place and she was so happy she got to try it. She enjoyed it!
Consistently great tasting homemade Ice Cream.
Tried the Boston Cream Pie and Toasted Coconut for first time. They serve floats and sundaes. There are times you can spot the owner in the back making ice cream in his kitchen.
The have very small vegan ice cream options but tase delicious too (we'vetried them). I was told they have about 130 ice cream flavors, which they rotate as soon as one is sold out.
Their service has been great throughout the Pandemic. The space is open for indoor dining, AND they have sample tastings!
Must try Ice Cream Flavors even if just to taste:
Chocolata*
Black Raspberry Cheesecake
Mounds
Oreo Cheesecake
Toasted Coconut
Cookies and Cream
Cake Batter
Rocky Road (has Marshmallows!)
Creamy Peanut Butter
German Chocolate Cake
Lemon Razzle Dazzle
Butter Pecan
Rum Raisin
And their vegan options!
Love it here. Old school ice cream parlor vibes, all homemade ice cream along with some original flavors here and there and extremely helpful staff makes for an very tasty recipe. The price is just right for the quality of ice cream you're receiving so I'm not mad at all, just have to show restraint as this place is truly a treat.
Lots of fun flavors to taste. Staff is fun and friendly. Clean. Reasonable prices. Offer a huge Sundae for a group to share. Seating space available to enjoy ice cream inside. I had the banana pudding flavor with strawberry topping Mmmmm
I Fell InLove Love 😍 with the Oreo Peanut Butter with Crunchies, and the Coconut Cane . The Best Mom and Pops Icecream Store in LI with many unique and One of Kind Flavors. Sweet staff gave recommendations.
Great mom and pop homeade ice cream local place. No wonder it has stood the test of time, the inside is very old school and they pay attention to detail. French pastry is my favorite but they switch up the many flavors often. They also make ice cream pies and cakes, which are amazing.
The icecream here is smooth and creamy. Ordered a sundae with the works. Very children friendly atmosphere. The shop has an old school feel to it. But a new family favorite.
This place is awesome, from the retro atmosphere to the friendly staff to - of course - the amazing ice cream itself. There are so many unique, great-tasting flavors, all of which you can tell are made with love. The first time my family went, we just had to get seconds. Everything you could hope for in an ice cream shop!
A lovely spot to grab dessert after a movie or at the end of a date. Many flavors to choose from and lots of toppings. All of them have been good so far and we've been several times.
Five Pennies is worth every penny. They have a large variety of hard ice creams that they make on site, and I haven't had a bad one yet. They have 36 flavors at any given time, some of which are seasonal and will change. They also make their own waffle cones and ice cream cakes, which are again fantastic. The locals all come here, but the line is always moving and the staff is incredibly helpful.
If you're not local, this place is right in the heart of Rockville Centre, which is a gorgeous and very walkable neighborhood with an incredible amount of diversity - there are sushi places next to Mexican next to vegetarian next to Thai, along with a movie theater and many stores. It's very vibrant. If there's any criticism, it's simply that parking is rough - I often have to park blocks away and walk. You can make a full day or of being in this neighborhood and hitting the shops, bars and restaurants, so it may be worth taking a cab/Uber/Lyft/whatever so you don't need to park.
