Don Quixote

We love Don Quixote's! We're probably eating here an average of twice a month. I've tried a lot on their menu but find myself reverting back to crunchy tacos with carnitas. The meat is nicely done, very moist and flavorful, and their hard shells are house made. My wife goes for the fish tacos or the shrimp burrito. You can't go wrong with their breakfast either. I notice most people get breakfast burritos but we like to share the breakfast tacos. I recommend the get chorizo & egg with potato and either pinto or refried beans. All in all, great spot with good food for any meal of the day. We also did their catering for our baby shower. We ordered 80 tacos with fixings and half pans of refried beans and rice. Ordered a week in advanced and they were very organized with what they provided. All of our guests were very happy with the food with most asking where it was from so they can check out the restaurant themselves sometime. Update: enchiladas with carnitas are bomb. We found ourselves putting the leftover enchilada sauce over the rest of our food. So good!

I was happy to stumble across this Mexican taqueria/restaurant as it was recommended to me by a friend. The staff was incredibly friendly and authentic when it came to ordering. I feel the portions are very large while keeping the price fairly low. Lots of options for fixings as you can make it your way similar chipotle but real Mexican style. Thank you Don Quixonte’s for ensuring we had a great first experience! We will be back.

If you're looking for counter serve Mexican food, this is an excellent place to check out. They have lots of great options including tacos, burritos and tamales. Better yet, they have free chips and a salsa bar! Prices are a bit higher than their chain competitors, with most dishes around $8-10 but the portion size makes it well worth it. Definitely give this place a shot next time you're looking for Mexican food!
