Ava's Cupcake Shoppe

Ava’s made my wedding cake 2 years ago and my wedding guests are STILL raving about how delicious our cake was. They also made a dozen vegan cupcakes for our guests and they were a huge hit. Last year, for our one year anniversary we had a mini version of our wedding cake made and it was just as yummy as the original. Sadly, because of this horrible pandemic, hubs and I are unable to order another cake for our anniversary due to the location near us being closed. Hopefully this all clears up and we will be able to have the yummiest cake ever again for our anniversary next year. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for you Ava! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I ordered a vegan gluten free birthday cake for my 40th birthday. I had heard great things about Ava's cupcakes but hadn't actually tried any yet so I was a little nervous. The cake was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it and couldn't believe that it was vegan and gluten free!! The decorating was exactly what I had asked for!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!! I never write reviews but for this cake I knew I had to!

Watched season 4 episode 8 of Cupcake Wars featuring Ava's owner Michelle and they won the competition on a banana guava combination. Truly incredible! Have tried just about every creation including the gluten free AND vegan ones and they're all just amazing. Worth the drive, so go. Seriously, like leave right now.

It was a very nice store, kind of small. We went on Harry Potters birthday, so they had Harry Potter themed cupcakes and cookies. They are very good. There was not a bathroom or any air conditioning. The staff member was very nice. We bought a lot of cupcakes and the staff managed it well and efficiently. There was only one person working, but it felt like there was a whole lot. They have seating, but we didn't use it and there were only like 8 seats. I liked the cupcake, I got "Butterbeer" from Harry Potter.

I went in there to buy a going away gift for a coworker who is leaving. She loves Ava's cupcakes so that's what I chose to get for her. I also wound up getting a half dozen for myself. They are so delicious period every flavor I've ever tried as been phenomenal. My personal favorites are root beer and anything with pumpkin in it. The help is always very polite. I highly recommend them

Got two birthday cakes from here and they were a hit! Their service is good and the staff is friendly. Maria, the baker, is talented and made us delicious cakes. Their specialty cupcakes and handpies are also worth trying. We loved the pumpkin canoli and creme brulee cupcakes. We were very satisfied with their service and will be going back often.

Tasty cupcakes that hit the spot! Growing up in NYC, I've been spoiled by the amount of bakeries with delicious cupcakes in the Park Slope area and in the City. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this nice little cupcake place right here in Morris County. They just know how to do cupcakes right! Not too overly sweet and extremely buttery and flavorful. The staff are extremely friendly and nice. The frosting is super creamy and super fresh!

I discovered this place on my way home. After several drives back and forth to work I noticed the "cupcake wars winner" that sparked my curiosity to stop and give them a shot. Just as a side note - I love LOVE baking and sweets! especially cupcakes (they're mini bites of happiness =)) So after trying Ava's I was hooked! I stop by here every couple of weeks. Also, now whenever I go over to someone's house or celebrate a birthday or as a thank you instead of bringing wine, I bring Ava's cupcakes and they are always a hit! I am pretty sure I've made half of my friends and coworkers addicted to Ava's! Personal favorites - Guava Banana (what an amazing combo!) and Salted Vanilla caramel or the salted chocolate caramel - it's a tie btw, if you join their facebook page you can see their specials of the day and which flavors they have available.

What can I say that others haven't said. Moist rich and not sugary sweet. We got 6 cupcakes truly lucky I only picked 3. The young lady who help sorry I didn't get her name was extremely nice and helpful. Even though we need no added time as she was helping another customer we were picking ours. When it was our turn she asked if we know how many we were getting. She asked so she knows what holder/container she needs. Pumpkin, Orange and Coconut. I see why they won Cupcake Wars.
