Manchu Wok

I have been going here a couple of times a great for many years. I have never had the problems others have mentioned. Workers have always been nice and helpful. There have been a few times that the food seemed to have been sitting for quite awhile but it wasn't terrible. The quantity of food has always been more than enough. I would recommend the place.

We are at Manchu wok for lunch while my sister was in the hospital. Everything about our Rochester experience had been great until this meal. We asked where to begin ordering and instead of the employee speaking to us, she just pointed without word. We began our order and she continued to hold her silence. We got to the soda fountain and we weren't asked what we wanted to drink she just held up the cup. After ringing us up, she did not repeat the total to us and held out her hand immediately for my card, and when I picked up the pen to sign she shook her head no. We grabbed our food and sat down to cold, chewy food.

Personally I love the food here. You do however have to get it at the right time. Sometimes it sits out to long. Maybe they would make new food if you asked? I've never had a problem with rude staff and it also help to know how the menu works. Keep in mind that they also hire a lot of people who speak English as a 2nd language. How it works: -You choose between rice or noodles for a carb and then choose your meats (ITEMS) or the vegetables. -You can choose to get 1, 2 or 3 items with your meal. NOTE: THEY ASK YOU FOR RICE OR NOODLES AND THEN ACT AS IF THERE ARE ONLY OPTIONS FOR A 2 ITEM OR 3 ITEM MEAL but you CAN get one item if you like. PS Again, you CAN get only a one item meal if you want
