We had the pleasure of dining here and it was delightful. Locally sourced food in a European style is a new and welcome addition to Rochester's growing restaurant scene.
The space is fashionable and elegant while not being cold or off putting. Service was brisk with coursing coming out at a good pace while not feeling rushed. I think the price for the dinner was well earned and we both left feeling fully satisfied.
The food was the star of the show and everything was delectable. The taste and preparation of all the dishes was outstanding. Visually all dishes played the part being nice to look at. We will be back frequently and look forward to many brilliant experiences.

One of the very best meals ever! The tastes were truly unique and so satisfying. I return to Rochester once a year and I hope Le Petit Café is there for years to come so I can keep coming back. The food, relaxing ambiance and knowledgeable servers make it all together a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely incredible meal. By far the best meal I have ever had in Rochester. The food was beautifully presented, flavorful, and beyond delicious. Beyond the food the service was impeccable and the ambiance warm and inviting. You would be remiss to miss a meal at this fabulous restaurant.

Excellent food and service. One of the best places to eat in Rochester period. Just as great for dinner as it is for a lazy Sunday brunch.

Very nice interior design. For the patio, i wish they could make a larger area or the area that is further away from civic center drive and kitchen fan. It would not smell that way. I also wonder if there is any chance they could have a rooftop.

This is the kind of restaurant I have been waiting for in Rochester! I am a vegetable farmer who likes to cook, so if I am going to go out to eat, I have high expectations for fresh, local, and creative dishes. This place more than met all my expectations for a fine dining experience. I was glad to see that they offer local beer and hard cider on the menu, but I would also like to see them offer a Minnesota wine as well.

I just had the pleasure of eating Lunch here yesterday! Rejoice, those of us that like interesting, worldly flavors finally have another place to eat in Rochester!!! I had the quiche, bread, and salad.... It was AMAZING. My husband and I shared a Macaroon for dessert--WOW! I am super impressed by this place. I'm so glad that I have a new place where I can eat!

Still a work on progress. Went when just opened and the food was excellent, but service was a struggle. One entree came 20 minutes before the others, wine bottle not uncorked at the table, exhaust fan not up to the challenge. Anyway, we went back with another couple recently.
Though we reserved about two weeks ahead, we had a table in the annex room off the nice main dining room. The lighting in the room is nasty, harsh florescent like light, and zero ambience. Asked to be moved to main room, was told they could not as fully booked. That was a bunch of hooey. Tables remained open the whole night.
Given the special menu only to be told they were out. We had a 7pm seating and were not given a heads up that they were out of pork. The waitstaff still needs serious training for kind of restaurant the Cafe purports to be.
Tip O the day. Make sure you are NOT seated in the annex room, it is lousy and even if you don't mind the lighting, the view of the parking lot is uninspired at best and rather annoying when head lights shine in. Shades or curtains are a must as is a consultant for lighting upgrades, which, remarkably, could not even be dimmed.
Food was disappointing. Soup was not hot, tasted okay. The chicken liver pafait was very nice, the bread it was paired with was a mistake, ginger or something. Fortunately, a very nice selction of breads was offered. The various breads were excellent. The scalop entree was good.
The quail was decent, the stuffing with it was rather bland and the birds did not come out hot. For a $25 entree it was a failure.
The desserts, which were excellent on the first visit, were mediocre at best and one cake was really not good.
Also, on 1st visit there was a nice selection for prix dinner options, this time only one and they were out.
The restaurant has a long way to go, but I hope it does make it, the potential is there. Rochester is lacking in highend restaurants.
