Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse

I had 2 pb old fashioneds for $17.00 a piece. They were good but took forever to be served. I then had the coconut shrimp for $17.95. Also very good but took forever to be served. Next up was the lobster chowder for $9.95 a cup. Excellent flavor but had to ask our waitress if it was coming because of the long wait. She said it would be coming but it was another 15 minutes before it made it to our table. Now for the main course. I had the mushroom crusted filet and my wife had the filet Oscar. Each filet was $47.95. We added the Buffalo Brussel sprouts and asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Each side was an individual serving size for $11.95 each. The filets were both very good but again took forever to get to the table and were just warm upon arrival so they must have been sitting in the kitchen. For dessert I had the key lime pie for $14.95. It was a normal size slice with a good flavor. But again was a long wait for it to show up. The total for our 2 meals was $274.82 before tip. This included a 3% safety/sanitation service charge. Not sure what that is for. The bottom line is good food that is overpriced for what you get and ridiculously slow service. We spent over $300.00 on dinner for 2 and were there for over 2 hours which most of that time was waiting for food to come out of the kitchen. This place will hopefully go out of business.

This was truly an amazing experience. We had a group of 18 people. Our server was awesome, very quick with filling our drinks and taking care of us. The food was the best I have had. I highly recommend eating here and using there rooms for large party's or events. Thanks to all the staff working tonight you were amazing!!!

I wanted try Rochesters Steakhouse first person I asked lady said right away "PITTSBURGH BLUE ". She replied without thinking.. Well I tried... If you in Rochester MN its a must try... Dont even look around. Im giving you "free ticket to haven of steak". Servers are extrimily friendly. Young waitress went above and beyond . The combination of all the style of restaurant ..the way thing are organized makes you feel extrimily comfortable . From very first time felt like Im regular here. Very good selection of meat and salands. Exrtily clean place.

It was a delightful quiet New Years Night dinner. The service was great & the food was amazing. We had the Horseradish Crusted Cedar Plank Salmon, family style honey glazed carrots & loaded mashed, ribeye, Lobster jalapeno sweet corn chowder and the most perfect Baileys and Coffee I've been served in a long time. Absolutely worth every penny and we left alot of them there.

Went here to treat my husband for always being by my side while traveling to Mayo Clinic. My husband and I ordered Calamari for an appetizer and received fried rubberbands. Sent them back, received less chewy fried rubberbands. Ordered drinks (STRONG) no complaints, but wow! Dinner was delicious, I must admit. Vegetable serving sizes are massive, customer service was excellent from a gentleman named Miguel. Overall we WILL NOT RETURN or recommend, the high prices are NOT supported with GREAT tasting food, atmosphere, plating, or service. I think complacency has struck! We don't have the opportunity to have nice nights like this and this was so disappointing. I wanted to do something special for my husband who takes great care of me. Argh!
