Busy Friday night led to us waiting quite a bit for food order. Servers were attentive. Nice menu and presentation but food was pretty much average. Nice neighbirhoid tavern.

Definitely a cute little place. Service was extremely slow but the food was phenomenal.

Ordered the Yuengling beer battered fish fry for 3 of us and everybody loved them especially the person that is picky about beer batter. Breading was perfectly done and fried and sides were all delicious. Ordered out so we didnt sit down and eat but would consider doing so in the future to try some of the other menu items that sounded great.

What an amazing place! If you go I recommend any of the chicken dishes they offer but absolutely everything is great! They offer amazing prices and portions with an atmosphere that you can't beat in the area!

We have been several times. The food is pretty good bar fare. Good place to hang out and watch a game or just grab a decent burger. Chad, the bartender is awesome.

Although lightly staffed, you wouldn't have known it. Everyone was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was prepared well and timely. Only my 2nd visit but latest experience will encourage me to go back. Appetizer portion was basically a meal.

Stopped in for a late dinner, good hours and open late. Rarity in Rochester, staff was great. Our food was later then normal and we got a free lava cake. I’d stop in just for that alone. Ordered the Chipotle Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich, bacon is top notch! My girlfriend ordered the honey and biscuit chicken, their fried chicken is next level. Great spot for brews and burgers, they have vegan options as well and very accommodating. Looking for a nice spot for the game or to unwind, this place has a lot to offer.

Not much to look at from the street, but don’t let that fool you. Go in and try it. It’s not old and not stone, if you were expecting that. Don’t worry though it’s worth the stop.
Great varied menu, good service, food was very good. Gets busy at lunchtime but they seem to keep up pretty well. Lots of TVs; it’s a sports bar atmosphere. We liked it a lot!

Received a recommendation about the food from a co-worker and they were not wrong. The creativity of the combinations and the taste was very well executed. We were having trouble deciding what to have because multiple items sounded so good. And we were distracted (in a good way) by the Sunday brunch page of the menu. Had the General Tso chicken sandwich with onion rings and the crab Rangoon pizza - so good. Not just an addition of 1 thing and call it a new name, but thought out from the beginning. And there are TVs with sports scores and really yummy looking pictures of their food.
We enjoyed our drinks, a cider and a beer. We looked at the cocktails and although they would taste great, the classic names seem forced.
We were seated right away and even out in our food orders pretty quick but then we waited, at least 30 minutes. They seem to run with 2 bartenders and a runner that we think might also be the cook.
The whole bar is about the size of an elementary school classroom. A few games, a long bar and air conditioning ready for a 90° day. My wife regretted her short sleeves and open toed sandals in that chill.

I was helping my cousin move some stuff up to their new apartment in Rochester, and we stopped here for a meal afterwards. There were several accommodations needed for our party, and we had stopped at 3 other restaurants before finding this place. They were able to accommodate the food allergies in our group, along with iptions for the children in our party. Personally, I ordered their Animal Style Smash Burger. When I reached the table it outshined its western counterpart, the In-and-Out Animal style burgers, and exceeded my expectations. They even made my kid a custom 10" Buffalo Chicken pizza.
The Old Stone Tavern also has seating facing the street, bar seating, and tables/booths. There are 6 tvs playing various sporting events on each, and music streaming through the speakers. The volume was not overbearing, and we were able to have a conversation and play I spy before the food got to the table.
