Walked in today to grab lunch to-go and the manager had quite a few of the employees at one of the tables as soon as I walked in. He was hounding them in a non-respectful and non-productive manner. I don’t know the backstory, but the way he was talking to them isn’t the way to handle any situation. Couldn’t believe how he was hounding them, especially in the presence of paying customers.
The manager actually ended up going to the front to take my order. I ordered an 8’’ narmer on wheat with a bowl of chicken and wild rice soup. As he entered in my order, I had to correct him on the type of bread, the kind of soup and the size of soup. I’ve never had to correct someone at that location except today when the manager obviously didn’t listen to me whatsoever when I was ordering. He also never told me how much my order was and never offered me a receipt.
While another employee was preparing my order, the manager returned to the table with the group of employees and continued to talk down to them in a non-respectful and non-productive manner. I won’t be going back after seeing how the employees were being treated.

I used to love erbs and gerbs.. But the past two times I went there the food sucked. 16.40 for a sandwich and soup. My sandwich had one skimpy piece of meat and nothing else. One choice of bread to choose from and the broccoli cheese soup was Luke warm at best. I see this business going under with how bad their food and service has become.

Went into erbert and gerberts today and card reader was down. I had no cash so the employee paid for my sandwich out of her tip money. I told her I would be back to pay her back and I was actually back there in 10 minutes time and paid her back right away. Good food and great employees!

Place is starting to get busy, though later in the day can sometimes crawl by without customers. During this national health issue it's a simple sandwich shop with daytime hours. I typically wipe down everything a customer could touch with peroxide cleaner (and being taller, i can reach everything) every hour or two. Most customers already make use of online ordering, to the ones that don't you should look into it, employees may have a discount but the deals on the app are better.

I ordered my food at 10 to be delivered at 12:20, I called them at 12:35 to let them know that it still wasn’t here and wanted to know where it was because no one notified me it would be late. I called and he said it would still be 35 minutes until it would get here. This is the second time this has happened, it is getting a little ridiculous.

Decent sandwich however prices way high. Nearly $15 per person for an 8inch sub sandwich and a cup of soup. I could get a foot long sandwich from subway with double meat for less than that. Place was recommended by my son when I was in town visiting. Can’t knock them, food was good but expected a lot more for the price

Ordered online on 9/10 and when I got to the store the employees and manager informed me they had just run out of bread and were in the middle of making more due to an unexpected BUSLOAD of people that had just left! They offered to refund me or use their day old bread, which was totally fine. My sandwich was great, they even threw in a free cookie and the rest of the loaf of bread. Incredibly friendly staff!

The wait time for sandwiches at this location is completely ridiculous! Nobody is in a hurry what so ever!! Maybe management should keep a better watch over their staff and possibly take some tips from Jimmy Johns!! If I would have went to Jimmy John's I could be home and done eating my sandwich by now! Oh well guess I know where NOT to go next time.

I used to order their broccoli cheese soup and sandwiches all the time. But apparently they changed their delivery range and no longer deliver to my workplace, even though it's only a few miles away. I'm now taking my business to Pot Belly's and Jimmy John's. :/

I doesn't even deserve a star. The kids working there move at the pace of a snail, and sit and chat with their buddies instead of doing their jobs. It took over ten minutes to get a sub. This place is a joke and way over priced. And no adult supervision?

We live in Country Club Manor- a HUGE location of houses in NW Rochester (the same area code as the store- 4 miles away) HOW PATHETIC!?!?

Have it their way. And just live with it. They just disregard your order and then can't be troubled to fix it because it would interfere with their evening plans which are clearly much more important than doing their job or YOU. I wish any of this was an exaggeration. It's not. Avoid this location unless you want to be made sick by meaning nothing to the people taking your money. If you like that, order here daily and every evening too. They know how you should like your sandwich.

We had erberts cater my sisters baby shower sandwiches and they went above and beyond. I didn't want to pick them up the night before due to them potentially getting soggy and I knew I wouldn't have time the morning of with picking up family and getting other things ready. and the gentleman helping us said when he left work that day he would drop them off an hour before the baby shower started even tho we were well out of the delivery area! The sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. Way to go above and beyond erberts and a big thanks to the gentleman willing to take time out of his Saturday and help us out! We will be doing all future catering here!

I have been ordering from this location for years (deliver and dine-in). I know that they changed ownership last year (November) but that does not explain the situation I went through last night. We called last night to place our order for delivery (as we always do) and as the nice gentleman was taking our order the manager decided to take over the phone conversation and tell me that they no longer deliver to my address. Which doesn't make sense because they always have delivered to us and not to mention they stated that they deliver 4 houses away from my location. This was the worst customer service I have ever seen from this establishment! I am not only upset about not being able to feed my family dinner as we planned but to deal with the disrespect from the management was awful. Please adjust your delivering radius to suit Rochester. This town is getting larger and if you want to stay in business you should be open minded to how large the city really is. I am EXACTLY 3 miles from your location on the dot!
