I drive out of my way to order takeout here.freindly people running it and the food is delicious. A lot of Chinese food is mostly broccoli, not here.very generous with the chicken.always get the sesame chicken and eggrolls.the fried scallops are awesome too.highly recommend.

I love this restaurant. The cooks are my heros and the owners are cool! I grew up in China so I'm always on the hunt for the closest I can get to real Chinese flavor and Golden Pond brings me back. Authentic flavors here.

Highlights of the meal were the wonton soup which was the best I've ever had with huge homemade wontons and flavorful broth that was too salty. I also enjoyed the cheese filled wontons. They were nicely fried, did not taste like old oil, and had a good amount of sweet creamy filling. These were actually better than the ones I had gotten from another location recently. The rice was ok. The pork lo mein had a decent amount of pork. The noodles were a little thin and dry, but still good. I also loved the free chinese fried noodles that were big and homemade.

WOW! We ate here for the first time tonight because our usual place is closed on Tuesdays for the summer and it did NOT disappoint! The food was hot, fresh and delicious! This may just be our new spot for Chinese! Amazing all the way around!

I judge all Chinese restaurants by the won ton soup. If this basic dish isn’t done well, nothing else is imo. The broth in their soup is absolutely delicious; it is a big craving for me, at least weekly. Broth is rich & tastes simmered for hours. It’s packed with delicious pork won tons & seasoned perfectly. All their dishes are wonderful.
