First of all this rating is based on hotels in Rochester. For Rochester New York( a small city) this hotel is fabulous. It has several amenities: a restaurant, a swimming pool, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it was pretty quiet. However my only dislike (which reduces a star for me) was that my room was extremely cold. They sent a maintenance man to my room who said that there was nothing he can do as the rooms heat vent registered at 80°. However I didn't feel that with the draft coming from the large window. I like feeling warm and toasty. This may also bother some people but it didn't bother me. The room is pretty small but there's a giant 55-in TV. So if you suffer from my eye strain maybe you want to avoid the place. Other than that everything was great. The beds are soft yet firm, the pillows are great and the showers work well. There's also a bathtub which is kind of weird for 2023. Overall I would recommend the Marriot Airport especially if you're a person who's naturally warm.

This is an older hotel, but is kept very clean. The carpet was new(er). The staff is top notch, and everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The front desk was on the ball and especially helpful. As a business traveler I always hope to receive great service, but sadly it happens less and less these days. Fortunately, that was not a problem at this Marriott. I would be glad to stay again anytime! This is my new go-to hotel in Rochester.

Great location near the airport with shuttle service. Rooms were clean and orderly. Bed was comfortable with extra pillows available. Small (2’x2’) area with counter for fridge and coffee maker. Tub with shower - shampoo, conditioner, body wash dispensers on the wall. The Lounge on the 7th floor has a small sampling for hot items but was a comfortable place to sit and relax with two TV’s although they did not have capabilities to watch the football games. WiFi service was good, wake-up call did its job. At the entrance, their ‘snack’ area was lacking. They would not take our $20 credits for use in the snack area, only the bistro which was not open because someone called in sick. It is walkable to a few food,etc shops across the road.

Nice location. Clearly an older hotel, but it’s been pretty well cared for. Nice recent renovations in the public areas, and the reopened concierge lounge has better than average food. The biggest downside is the bathrooms in the guest rooms. They’re quite small and very dated. The shower heads are so low that I have to bend way over just to wash my hair. Other parts of the rooms could use some TLC as there are signs of wear, but nothing terrible. Hotel is in a very convenient location for work, so I’ll likely be returning when I’m back again for work.

Overall, a pleasant place to stay. The location is great for being close to friends in the area. Staff was very friendly with a good sense of humor. Only constructive criticism is that the age of the place is starting to show a bit. A little cosmetic upgrade for the elevator cars, fresh wallpaper, and some furniture upgrades wouldn't hurt. I will definitely continue to stay here when I'm in town.

The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, and had great amenities. It was convenient located with a lot of shopping, food, and highways nearby. But the best part of this location was the staff! The front desk ladies I met upon arrival were friendly and helpful. Even the chief engineer and other maintenance workers jumped in to help. The bartender (Andy) was hilarious and provided top notch service! I would highly recommend staying at this location and we'll definitely be back!

I am not a big person on writing reviews and even when I intend to it never happens, but I wanted to make sure I did for our recent stay at the Rochester Airport Marriott. I was traveling with my older daughter to see colleges and attend and ID clinic. From the moment we arrived Friday night and through checkout it was a great experience. One of the nice things was and this has not been the case with many hotels we've stayed at over the past year, the bar was actually still open. Now that's not for my daughter but after a long evening of traveling it was so nice to just check in, go to the room and grab a night cap at 11:30pm. Andy was the bartender and he was great. Backing up a little tje staff was great at check im and anytime I needed to approach the front desk over the past two days it was always welcoming. Food at breakfast was great although we ordered from the menu not the buffet. The pool was nice and heated, although the jets were not working in the hottub but it was still nice to sit and relax in. I was also impressed with the gym. Plenty of working treadmills, dumbells and several weight machines which actually works. The hotel itself is close to several restraunts and only 15 minutes away from many more. As far as our room goes we were on 7th floor with two queen beds, which were very comfortable. All requests prior to arrival were also honored. I could probably say more but I'll stop here. This hotel is worth staying at. Happy travels.
