Hands down best Ruben I’ve ever had. Friendly staff highly recommend
Best food in town. Jewish roots, able to serve kosher, but serving everyone food made with all the maticulous care of a Jewish Mother (thats a very good thing ;-) oh, dont forget to grab a cow cookie! Leave at least 1 for me pls!
I've been coming to Fox's for over 20 years, and the new ownership has elevated the food to another level. The matzo ball soup is the best I've ever had! I want that broth recipe. Amazing stacked Reuben, accompanied by a savory Mac salad. Wow. Even the pickle was perfectly crisp. I'm so excited to see this place carry on old traditions with enhanced flavors!
So great to find this place. I was so surprised at the great food here. I got fries, pickles, the best dang drip coffee in Rochester, and a Reuben. Wooooo!!!! Delicious!
The staff were so great too.
I'm coming back.
We stopped in for breakfast on 7/1/23. We were quickly greeted and seated. The staff was friendly, polite and respectful. We had the Standard Breakfast with over easy eggs, pastrami & latkes and the LEO Platter - an amazing omelet (no cheese) with lox. Delicious !! We had fresh toasted bagels with each meal. A shout out to our waiter Kenny W. - a terrific guy, attentive, knowledgeable and a great asset to the deli.
This was my first time here and OMG what a great place to discover. Basically, this is a hidden gem I got myself a delicious Roast Beef sandwich. The place owners Alex and his brother are a great people. Will visit again soon
Great service and pleasant atmosphere. The mish mosh soup, latkes, and potato knish were solid. The best dish we tried was the cabbage roll. The sweet and sour soup was not great, tasted strangely like ketchup. The last time I visited, we had a delicious Reuben, which I highly recommend.
Stopped in this morning for the first time after searching for a place with bagels other than Bruegger's. The staff was really friendly and they have a lot of food options available for take out or dine in.
They recently started making their own bagels in house- I got a lox bagel which had a nice crunch on the outside, cream cheese on both sides, thinly sliced onions, capers, and a good amount of lox.
If you're looking for a good, locally-owned deli/bakery/restaurant, this is the place.
The new owners are doing great with this staple of a deli! Same quality you would expect, super friendly, and now even some gluten-free options, which I super appreciate! Like these almond paste cookies.. amazing. They also have a super rare treat usually only found in nyc. Have to stop in and check it out!
Hidden gem in the Rochester. Been here twice. Food is fantastic and was extremely consistent. Service was prompt and friendly. Being from jersey/nyc area this place is a little taste of home. It’s hard to find breakfast spots where the food doesn’t taste like lowest quality stuff you can find. This is the spot we’ve been looking for. Everything has been great. The joe bean coffee is very good. I even grabbed some cookies on the way out and it was the best snickerdoodle I’ve ever had. And the pastrami!
They make their own bagels in house and they are SO GOOD! Nothing beats a freshly made bagel in the morning. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
This is my favorite restaurant/ deli in Rochester! We always go there when we’re in town.
Best cabbage soup I’ve had and one of my all time favorite soups anywhere! Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious! Kenny is a wonderful asset to the restaurant All the wait staff are excellent, but Kenny is superb! Best halvah ever!
