I was recently in Rochester for a music video shoot and before heading back home to ithaca we looked for a place to eat. Wanting something different we heard about a few Jamaican restaurants so after heading to one that had no food they recommended this place across the street. We were welcomed with the staff recognizing one of us who plays with Mosaic Foundation and were very pleasant with us. After suggesting we all get something different we each left with empty plates. All of the plates were well portions and with so much flavor .

First time trying this restaurant. I had the oxtail stew with rice beans plantains and stewed cabbage. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back!

Fantastic food. We had the jerk chicken and the oxtail. Portions are generous but not too large. Very nicely seasoned and tasty!
Their one high chair is really cute and my toddler stayed seated longer than in the usual ones you see at other restaurants. The decor and music are great. We went at lunchtime and almost all of the tables were bathed in sunlight. We parked at the East End Garage (currently still free on weekends) that's diagonally across the street.
