My daughter's and I ate here for the first time and it was a great experience, they had been nagging me to try thia place and yesterday was the perfect time. It was late morning, the waiter was great. He was nice and attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. The only downside was my grits were really salty, but after adding some syrup to it they tasted fine. We will def be going back!

OH GOD THIS WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!!!! perfectly fried wings+ perfectly flavored waffles and together with some good maple syrup = a delicious breakfast that makes your heart cry. i hope the chef knows that they’re a god amongst men

Had brunch with a friend. We sat in the front of the restaurant which was very bright (it was a sunny day). Service was kind of slow at the beginning but the server was very attentive once she got going. The portion sizes and food were good. We did have to return a steak because it was not cooked as requested. The redeeming quality was that the owner himself came out after re-cooking the steak to make sure it was to our liking and even apologized for not cooking the steak properly the first time. I would return to Arnett Cafe.

Now let's talk about the timing. My order was ready once I got there and she made sure to put all sauces in bag without me having to mention anything.

All in all...my first experience here was amazing. The fact that it's black owned is even better. We need to start supporting one another. Kudos to the entire staff. You all now have a regular customer 🙏🏿

I’ve lived in the South most of my life and this homey restaurant definitely had a Southern vibe to it. I ordered beef sausage, eggs, and grits. My wife ordered chicken and Belgian waffle. It was delicious. I’d come here again the next time I’m in Rochester.

Best experience ever!!! The food was soo great, and the staff was so kind. I cannot wait until I can go back again. We ordered the chicken and waffles and they were amazing! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles were some of the best I've ever had We also ordered a side of shrimp which was a little pricy and we probably wont get it again but it was still really yummy! If you ever get a change you should really check out this place! I will definitely be returning soon.

Wow! This place is amazing. It's small so if you have a larger party you may have to wait a little bit, but it's definitely worth it. The food is phenomenal. Everything tasted very fresh and didn't feel too heavy. A must try if you like southern-style food.

We moved away from the area almost 7 years ago and were looking at some old family photos and reminded of the Arnett Cafe. We went online to see if it's still open and so excited to see it's still in business!
We now live in the south and these folks do southern style food right. Great service, friendly people, and awesome food. I miss the artwork and small space, and miss being able to walk to it with our kids to eat.
If we are ever back in Rochester we will drop by the Arnett.

1st time visiting this establishment and we will definitely go back. The food was off the chain I had steak and eggs and my wife had pancakes and grits and both were excellent 👌. The service was on point and very professional!! The young man was very thorough and attentive they made sure we were well taken care of. Looks can be deceiving but no better food in the roc.

Had a flight that was leaving in an hour. Let the server know and they were not only super accomodating but the food was amazing and authentic but not too heavy. 3 people, 3 meals, all hot, fresh, and prompt. Will be returning. Another perk was the local artwork featured throughout the location. Servers were attentive, friendly and professional. Management was present on site making sure things were running smoothly but were just as friendly as the wait staff. As a Rochester native I hope this gem sticks around !

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Rochester. Arnett Cafe has a simple yet perfectly executed menu. This place also has friendly service. If you've never been its definitely worth checking out and if you don't know what to get, try the chicken & waffles.

The service in the morning is terrible they don’t answer the phones a server doesn’t comes in until the the restaurant has been open for almost an hour leaving one person to take your order greet ppl and make your food I waited for 20+ mins to even see someone to place an order after going to the kitchen to look for an employee smh The food is great the BEST fried chicken! However the professionalism needs a great deal of work! Customer Service is Everything...

My first time there as ok besides ten slow service but the food was good. My second time there was terrible. The waiter was rude as hell. I'm in the middle of giving her my request and she just walked away then messed the whole order up. And she had the worse attitude. If you don't know how to deal with customers with a smile on your face you shouldn't be doing it. No matter how good the food is I will never go back to this location because the service sucks

It was good food and good service. We were just forgotten about. The food reminds me of home. The cheese grits were amazing. And the bacon egg and cheese was on point. What will bring me back is the tea. Fantastic.

Went at breakfast time . Food was good! My Cajun fish taste better on my first visit there a few months ago than it did today. But I'd go back again! Very friendly staff! My husband enjoyed his meal and his Waffle Peach Cobbler Dessert!

I have visited the Arnett Cafe many times in the past and have always been pleased with my food. However, yesterday, I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal...especially after craving it for several days. I ordered chicken and waffles...the waffle was fine, but I was given little wingets instead of the whole wings that usually come with it...and the chicken was horrible. It had absolutely no flavor whatso ever. I love chicken...therefor I know good chicken when I have it. The matron kept placing blame on the fact that they were catering later that day...which was still unacceptable. She then told me the cook said he seasoned it...having an excuse for every valid complaint I made...but I know what my mouth taste...and it was tasteless, flavorless, unseasoned chicken wingets! My cousin was also very displeased with her shrimp and grits. We both end up not eating it. ������

If you looking for sum good Food here's the place for you. I mean from the time you walk in the hospitality is outta this world. The people that runs the place are some good folk. Down to earth church going friendly then all out doors people here. And for I go, they also have some genuine customer base. I love this place looking forward to eating here again.
