The Arnett Cafe

My daughter's and I ate here for the first time and it was a great experience, they had been nagging me to try thia place and yesterday was the perfect time. It was late morning, the waiter was great. He was nice and attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. The only downside was my grits were really salty, but after adding some syrup to it they tasted fine. We will def be going back!

Had brunch with a friend. We sat in the front of the restaurant which was very bright (it was a sunny day). Service was kind of slow at the beginning but the server was very attentive once she got going. The portion sizes and food were good. We did have to return a steak because it was not cooked as requested. The redeeming quality was that the owner himself came out after re-cooking the steak to make sure it was to our liking and even apologized for not cooking the steak properly the first time. I would return to Arnett Cafe.

We moved away from the area almost 7 years ago and were looking at some old family photos and reminded of the Arnett Cafe. We went online to see if it's still open and so excited to see it's still in business! We now live in the south and these folks do southern style food right. Great service, friendly people, and awesome food. I miss the artwork and small space, and miss being able to walk to it with our kids to eat. If we are ever back in Rochester we will drop by the Arnett.

1st time visiting this establishment and we will definitely go back. The food was off the chain I had steak and eggs and my wife had pancakes and grits and both were excellent 👌. The service was on point and very professional!! The young man was very thorough and attentive they made sure we were well taken care of. Looks can be deceiving but no better food in the roc.

Let me start off first by saying Customer Service was amazing 👏🏿 The young king who took my order over the phone is right where he needs to be. He's very professional. Now let's talk about the timing. My order was ready once I got there and she made sure to put all sauces in bag without me having to mention anything. THESE WAFFLES 🧇 😋 ...Yes indeed! Very scrumptious and so Fluffy. All in all...my first experience here was amazing. The fact that it's black owned is even better. We need to start supporting one another. Kudos to the entire staff. You all now have a regular customer 🙏🏿 Blessings ♡

Best experience ever!!! The food was soo great, and the staff was so kind. I cannot wait until I can go back again. We ordered the chicken and waffles and they were amazing! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles were some of the best I've ever had We also ordered a side of shrimp which was a little pricy and we probably wont get it again but it was still really yummy! If you ever get a change you should really check out this place! I will definitely be returning soon.
