Our first time to eat at this restaurant. It’s a decent place if you’re in the mood for Mexican food. The food is really good, the interiors are festive, the ambiance excellent, and the service fast. The staff are really courteous. Price is a bit expensive though. A glass of soda is $4.0 each. I ordered Carnitas, it cost $19.0 while my mom ordered a mix of chicken and steak fajitas which cost $21.0. Recommend this place if you’re not on a budget.

Pretty decent Mexican joint, has a variety of dishes from fajitas.. lunch specials and sweets. Not much drink choices as I'd like but everything still came out great. They do have excellent service and accommodations for a friend of mine who was on a vegan diet so that was great! She got a veggie burrito and enjoyed it very much.

Food came out quickly and was delicious. My favorite was the chicken burrito. Fair prices as well! Has a festive Mexican-style theme inside. They also have deals for taco Tuesday. Free chips and salsa and the salsa was amazing too.

This has been my favorite Mexican food spot in Rochester for years. I recently took the whole family to celebrate my birthday. My toddler was with us and had a great time! It's not always easy going out to eat with a little one but the staff was very accommodating, they went above and beyond to make it a great experience for us!

Exactly what you would expect from a good casual Mexican place. Servers are really funny, food is ready fast, strong margaritas. I had a combo of enchilada - burrito - Chile relleno and all were great. Party of 4, everyone had different orders, everyone enjoyed what they got. I would go again. However if you are looking for more exotic dishes this is probably not what you're after, this restaurant does the more accessible Mexican food and they do it well.

First time there and I like the food. I had the beef tacos which were delicious. The rest of the food was also good. I recommend the skinny margarita.

I enjoyed this place my food was good, drink was good. I only gave this place 4 stars because 5 star restaurants should have clean eating utensils. My utensils were nasty but no other complaints. My server was attentive and welcoming and so we're the other staff.

I give Monte Alban a five star cuz they're pretty consistent and still a value. I like that they start off with tortilla chips and salsa so you're not sitting there starving. I've never had a bad server. Seems like there's always a drink special. Entrees are like $17, but so is a burger and fries, and I like this better. I like it better for reasons like it's not something I'd make at home, And it may not be the greatest mole sauce, but that's also something I don't make for myself, and for some reason, I love the beans and rice there. And if that's not enough, if you ask for the hot sauce, well, you asked for it! They're always people there, and that tells me a lot.

I felt like I hit the lotto when I saw this place and pulled in for a closer look. I've been there several times over a month. Best Mexican food in Rochester. Found out they have three locations and I see why. Street Tacos omg. Chix/shrimp w sauces and sides off menu blew my mind, who are these people ! Lol. Runs like clock work when really busy with happy employees with no bad attitudes anywhere to be found. Presentations are amazing. Kitchen is run with serenity and good taste and excellence to quality and perfection and I am the pickiest foodie in town. If I have 4 million views on my photos on Google Maps and they read this I suggest everyone stop by and enjoy these magically chefs out. Peace. Tom Wedeman here reporting from East Ridge Road :)

The food was amazing as usual and they never fail to satisfy me. The Andreas chicken was awesome and their rancehro sauce is top notch. It was busy for a Saturday night and we got the table with 20min wait which was worth it. I feel like the alcohol content is not up to the point on cocktail.

A treasure for sure! The atmosphere is colorful and appealing. The restaurant itself is clean the booths and the seating comfortable and roomy. Before I give a review on the meal itself let me talk about the wait staff. we had a server named Luc! (pronounced LOOSE) she was fun, engaging, attentive, and accommodating we love her!
We had fresh warm homemade chips with homemade salsa that was outstanding The guacamole the best we’ve ever had!
We both ordered chicken fajitas they were served on the large platter with chicken, sweet peppers, mushrooms and onions seasoned and grilled to perfection. They were also served with the best refried beans either of us have ever had they were smooth and creamy and delicately seasoned. The entrée was served with two warm tortillas, lettuce, sour cream and seasoned rice.
We give this restaurant 10 stars and would highly recommend anyone to come!!! The atmosphere here would welcome families and where certain children would be delighted with menu offerings we can’t wait to come again!

It was my first time there, entire staff was great! Food was amazing! Margaritas were delicious! Sergio was out server/ bartender and he did an amazing job! Juan was the manager and he was very friendly and courteous ! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and he was very attentive not only to us but his staff as well! Very family oriented place and I can't wait to return!!!!!

The best margaritas!! Our food was delicious, fresh & authentic! Our waitress was wonderful and let us relax before ordering our entrees. The staff sang Happy Birthday to my daughter. We've never been disappointed at Monte Alban!

Monte Alban is one of my family's favorite places to dine. The margarita with the baby Corona (or Lambrusco) is simply divine and must be experienced.� Although the chips and salsa are delicious, spend a few extra bucks and order the queso dip or guacamole. Totally worth it! Every dish I've tried has been delicious, and the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. A real gem of a place...

Well, I had heard it was really good here, but, all three of these items were ground beef and the ground beef was seasoned well, but , dry in all three items. I just smelled some fajitas going by, maybe I will come back and try them. The restaurant has a nice decor and the server was fine, no problems there. But, I would be hesitant on ordering the ground beef again. �

I love Monte Alban. Every time I go I am taken care of by the friendliest and most fun wait staff!!! They run around and hustle when it’s busy-and yet they’re still kind and attentive. The food is delicious and I highly recommend the margaritas!!! Try it. You’ll most likely love it!

It was good, I had their espaciales... chicken quesadilla with rice and beans and a beef taco.. along with chips and salsa. The chicken in the quasedilla was a bit salty to me, but stil tasty. Big portions .. definatelty worth a visit!!
