Visited Thai Continental during our stay in Roanoke and we were really pleased! We have some picky eaters in our family but they had something for everyone on the menu. We ordered the vegetable egg rolls and edamame as an appetizer which were delicious. For entrees we had the tofu soup, fried rice, and drunken noodles with tofu. Dessert was mochi and sticky rice with coconut custard. Overall, great service and food! I would absolutely go back next time I’m in town.

TWEEKS ROAD TRIP FOOD REVIEW!
This is just a bit outside my home town (still in my region of SW VA), and while I don't give many five star reviews, but this is one of my family's favorite restaurants in this region for the last 10 yrs here in downtown Roanoke. They have THE BEST Tim Ka (chicken, sweet, sour, spicy, cocoanut milk, lemongrass) soup I've ever had (pictured).. and the spicy basil soft shelled crab is one of the specials I've only found here. Amazing! NOM! The Thai (sweet) tea is slamming good too if you can take that much sweetness ( I enjoy a sip on off my daughter's but can't drink a full one myself). Parking is also easy if you park in the lot at the end of the block. Mmmm.. that spicy crab sauce is still on my lips.. :) also check out their unique desserts like the fried ice cream or fried bananas! (Pictured that look like spring rolls)

My first Thai since leaving Richmond, and I had three Thai places within a half mile there. I judge a place by if it could survive there, Ave this place certainly holds its own. I loved it. There were two tables of Thai people, I figure that's validation enough. Street parking.

I ordered Pork Lo Mein as takeout the other night and although this is not a traditional Thai dish I assumed it would be similar to what I order from a Chinese restaurant. What I received was a large bowl of Ramen noodles with a scattering of diced vegetables and several large pieces of pork. So disappointed!

This is the worst Thai food I had in my whole entire life. The pad thai was an dark orange color which I never seen before. The food was bland and disgusting I could not eat it. You couldn't give this food for free. Such a waste of money.

Ordered takeout tonight and was very underwhelmed with the food. I had the chicken satay and the tofu kapow. The satay was OK but the peanut sauce tasted a little off. I was really hoping the kapow was going to be good but it was extremely greasy. The tofu was soaked in oil and the texture wasn’t right. So much oil and grease, my stomach was not happy. I was hoping this place would be great since Red Jasmine closed but I don’t think I’ll order from here again.

Horrible food lousy price but wonderful service
Best to avoid this place if you have had Thai food before. I wonder how can professional cooks prep such lousy food. The curry was super lousy with potato and carrots that were not cooked and the pad Thai was awful. What I really disliked is the few pieces of chicken in the food.
At 32 $ it was a poor experience
I copied part of the bill as proof of my expenses
Never again !

I still love this place. I have been going here since I was about 10-12 back when it was Tong's Thai at another location. They still make great panang curry, peanut sauce, and sticky rice with custard. I also love the Thai iced coffee for that sweet yet coffee bitterness to contrast the condensed milk sweetness. Will always have a place in my heart AND stomach.
