Excellent place for a Roanoke tradition. The Roanoke Weiner stand has been around for ages. We stop by every time we are in town and never leave disappointed. Try a hot dog all the way (chili, onions, mustard) and you’ll never go back.

What can i say, but the best hot dogs i have ever eaten and i make a point of trying hot dogs everywhere i travel to. It was my father and grandfather's favorite too. My father went there for hot dogs for 50 years even after he moved two hours away.

The hot dogs just aren't the same since the reopening..I have tried them on 2 different occasions and both times they just don't have the Weiner stand authentic taste and then to pay over $11 for a combo consisting of 2 hot dogs, fries and a medium drink I don't think I will return.

Sam's hot dogs in Salem is way better. But this is an ok place to stop if you have to. It is a bit expensive for what you get.
