Briermere Farms is a long-standing ,Long Island institution. Famous for their Delicious Fruit Pies.
The Fresh Fruit Cream Pies are incredible without being overly sweet.
My all time favorites are Apple Crisp and Peaches and Cream.
This Bakery/farm-stand also has a wide variety of local produce.
Briermere Apple Crisp is a staple at my families Thanksgiving Dinners.
I drive an hour just for these pies and pick some up for family and friends too.
The taste of the cream fruit pies made me want to come back here for more. $45 for one pie but it is WORTH it!! Not only that but there was a line to get in and they even had 8 registers open to help the long line of customers!! The wait was worth it. I got the peach cream pie and the peach blueberry. There are so many other flavors I also want to try. I’ll have to come back for those!!
You just can’t go wrong with any of the pies, cookies, breads, jams or cakes at this famous community staple. Beyond delicious, flaky and best of all home grown treats. Simply fantastic on-site bakery with heavenly baked goods galore. You can call ahead and reserve your order as they sell out quickly of popular items.
They also have beautiful flowers, a huge variety of produce and plants for your vegetable or fruit garden. My vote for overall best pies hands down.
Oh and don’t forget to stop at the Tanger Outlet mall in River Head for great discounted shopping prices. It’s a win-win!
5 stars, cream pie is a MUST! Yes the apple crumb pie is a popular choice, along with so many other Delicious baked goods. The friendly and helpful staff can tell you what just came out of the oven!! Of course everything is fresh. Per the reco, I got the raspberry cream pie and it MAGNIFICENT. The best cream pie I've ever had. Crust is flaky and crisp, the creme is light and not too sweet, and the big pie of present raspberries taste authentic and great. They keep for 5 days in the fridge. Enjoy your visit here, support a local farm. The price reflects a quality product.
Peach pie goodness that actually caused a fight!
Our tradition when we visit our friends on the North Fork is to bring a peach cream pie to the house for dinner. This is less of a tradition and more of a demand.
Our friends are magnificent hosts, and they always prepare fresh food from their garden, gorgeous cocktails, lobster rolls or fresh-caught tuna, and the only thing they ever want us to bring is the peach cream pie from Briermere Farms
So we brought the pie as usual, and there were only seven of us, and the host started cutting and the host and her sister-in-law got into a bit of a tiff about how the host wasn’t fairly cutting the pie correctly so that we could all have even slices. I thought they were kidding a bit, but it really seemed like it was getting serious. That’s how delicious this peach cream pie is. Sure it's expensive, but when it brings this much joy and family disharmony, it's worth it. Enough said.
This place has beautiful flowers, a huge variety of produce and plants for your veggie or fruit garden. Plus the best bakery. They have pies and bars and cookies and breads and also jam and honey too. Overall best pie. We make a point to stop here every time we visit the area because it's so fantastic.
Briermere pies are recommended for all important events such as holidays -- but not only! Handmade crust of course, fruits grown here, and delicious pumpkin pie. Also picked up some very nice ornamental kale and cabbage plants for color in the winter garden. Did I mention pies? 😃
An absolute must stop when passing by in the fall. The line moved quickly and there was more than a wide selection of pies. Believe we paid $28 for an apple crumb pie. To me, a little expensive, that is until you try it! Highly recommend when in search of a homemade pie.
Went for the first time this past weekend and absolutely adored it! Produce and fresh drinks were delicious, everything was very organized and well kept. Staff kept the line moving and were very kind. Prices fair for the higher quality and freshness.

The pies. If your here, DONT SLEEP ON THE PIES!! 🥧 Whatever rhubarb is, it’s INSANE! My dad swears by the strawberry rhubarb, they were out when we went, we did apple rhub instead… it was phenomenal!! Absolutely delicious, only had one slice then donated it to the family, boy I could have eaten alllll of it! 🤤 The juices are good too! Apricot was a little strong for my taste but the razz apple juice was ohhhh so good! 🥤
