I felt Like I'm in Palermo! Same feel, different continent. Worth every penny I spend in this magical Italy! Beautiful, spotless and wonderful staff! Thank you for existing after all the drama that hit restaurants this past year. P.s they have amazing gluten free menu!
Da Luciano’s knocks it out of the park every time. Their food is incredible with a full gluten free menu! Their marinara is so flavorful and the gluten free pasta was cooked perfectly. Everyone in my family loves this place, everything about it is amazing.
Oh my! This place is wonderful. We are not locals (almost 500 miles away!), but if we were locals, we would go here at least weekly. They offer a VERY extensive gluten free menu, including appetizers and desserts! The service and the quality and quantity of the food all were wonderful!! The first night we emptied our plates and took dessert to go, the second night we had leftovers and dessert to take home. Gluten free fried calamari and gluten free cannoli! My first time seeing either anywhere. My husband even asked for something that was not exactly on the menu-veal parmigiana with Alfredo sauce and linguine. If you are looking for true, delicious Italian food, that makes you think of grandma's cooking, this is where you want to go. Even if it means a long trip!
I have Celiac. This restaurant has many gluten free options! I moved out of the Chicago area and now drive 2.5 hours to eat at this restaurant. That should tell you something!😉
Great portions, delicious food, friendly staff. Nice little gem. Lived few blocks away from here for decades and wish I went in sooner. Worth the money, worth your time. And here for dad’s birthday. Everyone was happy with what they ordered.
Since 2007 my family has been going to Da Luciano’s. They always have great service, incredible ambience and amazing amazing food. Both gluten free and traditional Italian are served here. Both are awesome. I have never had a bad time at this restaurant!
Haven't dined in yet, so I can only tell you about my interactions with the staff at the counter and on the phone, which have always been super friendly and easy! Picking up the food is usually a breeze, there's parking on the side street, and I haven't had to wait inside yet. As for the food, the Chicken Vesuvio is amazing- you get two large chicken breasts, potato wedges, garlic sauce and bread and enjoy 😉 I've also had their specialty pizza multiple times: crispy, cheesy delicious!
