For my birthday, I was planning on getting some real good pizza. I wanted Vinny's, but turns out they're closed this weekend, so I tried the other place I've been wondering about since I moved to Ridgefield. This was a mistake. The pizza here is downright bad. Reading the other reviews, I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what, but I did not like it in the slightest and will not be returning. The crust was thin, but in a really bad way. It was super hard - not crispy, just hard, but still somehow not burnt - but the inside was almost raw? I'm including pictures. It kind of felt like they just lay two pieces of dough together and then sort of cooked it. There were huge air pockets so you could see THROUGH the pizza for some reason. In fact, some pieces were ALL air pocket. How is an entire piece an air pocket? How is that even possible? I wish I had taken a picture of one, sorry. Anyway. The crust was just terrible. I love the crust of a pizza, it's what makes or breaks it. Also, I didn't realize you could put too many toppings on a pizza, but man did they prove that point. There were SO many pepperonis. I had to take off about half. Why would I need that many pepperonis? Is it because you're trying to hide how bad your pizza is? Clearly, yes. To add insult to injury, this place is insultingly expensive. It cost me over $30 for this pizza. 20 inches, sure it's decently large I guess, but it was a very low quality product. I expected for that much money to at least WANT to eat the leftovers. I ate because I was hungry and in a hurry. And because I paid so, so much. A $7.99 pizza from Domino's is leaps and bounds above this. That's embarrassing. It's not the worst pizza I've ever had. But again. It wasn't good. I can't in good faith recommend this to anyone, and I will give my cousins an earful for recommending it. Ugh. What a trashy birthday dinner. I should have just gotten Domino's.

Great pizza. It is terrible that I called to ask if I get a discount for 1/4 of my pizza discounted- who wants to eat crust and no toppings? My wife was also harassed while paying; (they want the person who’s name is issued on the card present.) Make sense since there is a lot of theft out there but then the employee proceeds to tell her it’s ok if he prepaid over the phone and not present??!! Really, she showed her ID which shows same last name and it’s “ our co-account” yet I can be absent from the ID over the phone…. Anyways, again good tasting pizza but I guess not helpful to have bad service and preparation. Poke the pizza! It allows for the crust to not bubble and not lose all the toppings I pay a good penny for at this establishment.

Great pizza, terrible service. Would not sell us a 2 letter cause we dident have ten people but then when we got 13 they said we couldn’t get any. Then they made us pay for are box for leftovers Most of the people in there were nice but the guy with the black earrings didn't like us for some reason

Some of my favorite pizza around. The crust is different than most other places and it is my favorite. A little on the spendy side for pizza but it's so worth it. Plus they have a drive through which is great. Pictures of taco pizza and half a Hawaiian

I usually Like Thier pizza but this time I got some poor sausage substitute when I ordered pepperoni and sausage. It looked like a cut up hot dog sausage and did not look like the usual Italian sausage I am used to. No flavor and was kind if chewy. I dont mind paying for good pizza but a small half and half pizza and salad for 30+ bucks seems a little high to me. Might try them one more time but if the sausage is not back to what I am used to I'll find another spot.

Ordered chicken garlic pizza in Ridgefield around 1600 and paid over the phone, the order taker (guy) unenthusiastically asked for my phone number 3 times, i was told i can pick it up around 30 to 40 mins. I called after 40 mins the same guy said it is not ready yet so i waited 20 more mins. I was at the restaurant around 1728 and was told that my pizza is missing , the (lady) manager said they can make the pizza in 10 mins and gave me a liter of pepsi for the inconvenience. Just suprised that I waited for an hour and 28 mins and now the pizza can be made for only 10 mins. Pizza is good but Terrible service.

I want to say I was totally Disappointed Pay $23 For a pizza that was half naked. All right I have bought pizza from this location in Ridgefield for 10 years. The price has gone up and the toppings have definitely gone down. Used to order a pizza and eat the pizza and have enough toppings leftovers to make another PizzaNo parsley I cannot recommend Papa Pete's Ridgefield anymore Obviously the staff doesn't care about quality anymoreAnd obviously I won't be throwing my money there anymore!!!!!

We have had their pizza for several years, always has been really good but today, our pizza had almost no pizza sauce and just an all around poor flavor. Making a pizza is not very hard, someone needs to quality control these pizzas, they are not a cheap pizza and should be made to the quality that they charge for.
