Seriously the best dish in this restaurant is the Hainanese chicken. It's really delicious and flavourful. Best of all they debone the chicken for you. The price of the chicken is super affordable and get the best bang for your buck. Seriously... A whole chicken, soup and 5 bowls of chicken rice for under $25. Plus they give you 10% off for pick up! Curry brisket and chicken is not bad, all other dishes are terrible. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the poor service... 1-2 waitresses working the entire restaurant during a rush. But who honestly goes to a Chinese restaurant for good service. We go for the food!

Love the Hainan chicken combo here! They're usually pretty busy, so try to come at an off hour. Roti is not bad. Skewers are usually pretty decent.

Seats a good amount of people
Cash only
Came around 730pm on a Tuesday night and only two people were working. It had died down but you could see we missed the dinner rush.
They clearly tried hard to server everyone
Ordered the two person combo. Comes with two entrees and a drink for $23
It's a 3.5 stars

We were told by several other couples that this place was worth comparing to my other favourites. Since I don't review a place unless I've gone at least 3 times, I was invited to dinner at our friends house and sure enough we had the Hainanese chicken from Coco Hut as well as a Singapore fried noodle with prawns, morning glory (aka Tung or Ong Choy) and an array of satays. My friend asked me if I had reviewed CH yet and I hadn't so here's my chance. Already long winded, I learned of CH around a month ago and have eaten their food three times now. The Hainanese chicken is easily among the top 3 with mama Lee and Prata man. I wasn't blown away by the fried noodle but that is a matter of personal preference as it wasn't bad. The satays have an authentic Malaysian bbq aroma although the quantity could be larger. Overall great and I will definitely be back again. Thanks for dinner Lionel & Crystal

Hainan Chickens were too soft, curry were too watery, chicken and beef stews were ok. Taste were blend overall. Mid $20ish for 2 people will make you full but nothing not satisfy, taste wise.

I am always on the lookout for good Singapore/Malaysian restaurants and this is a good one. It's not huge but it is comfortable and seems to have a loyal clientele. I like that it is open right through lunch past dinner so I have a place to go to in the mid afternoon. The Curry Beef Brisket is outstanding although they also sell a lot of a well prepared Hainanese Chcken and Rice. Vancouver's tastes are finally adjusting to recognize the subtle difference to what they are used to is not a minus.

Great prices. Chicken comes with soup and oil rice. 1/2 chicken is a good deal whole chicken is best deal can feed a family. True chicken flavor not msg laden. Service is not that good but I come here for chicken during lunch and dinner. Can get busy and sometimes there's a wait.

Best value for great tasting food.
For $20 or so, you can feed four people by ordering their whole chicken, comes with four servings of rice.
And you go back for the great tasting food, not because of its value.
