The dishes are very spicy and delicious. If you like hot food, then you should give it a try. It might get your taste buds on fire until the next day. Definitely unforgettable dining experience. Orginal traditional China HuNan style cuisine. The price is fair enough. Not too expensive, however, not cheap as well.

If you like the numbing kind of spicy, this is the place to go. The spice level is not very high and should be easily tolerable by most but the flavor is great and definitely worth a try.

Food is very good service is not good. My girlfriend is from China and she says the food reminds her of home very much. Good luck with the servers though.

This is northern China for that is characterized by being spicy and tones of flavor, and this is vastly different from South Chinese style. I think this restaurant did a good job representing the region and the food was good. I had to take one star off becauses the waiting staff were slow to react and slightly unfriendly.

Probably the worse experience in Vancouver so far. We ordered 3 main dishes a soup and a desert. It took over and hour and half for the food to come out. I did read the reviews about bad service and I can comfirm that is the case.. Definitely not enough servers. The reason for the 1 star is mostly the quality of the food... Over salty, too much white pepper on our soup. If you have limited dinners in Vancouver, I would avoid this one.

We wait for 1hr and still not be served. Very bad experience. They just let dine in customer wait and take the delivery orders. The place doesn’t have heating, extremely cold in the winter. The owner needs to use brain to do business.

Good food, good flavor but bad service. The waitress was not very nice and patient to customer. The side dishes don’t have lots of options. Asked for fish tofu but she brought out frozen one and said only one type of tofu.
