The food was really good. I ordered online for pick up and had no issues, definetely coming back and would recommend this place since it's a local family business. Nice seafood/soulfood spot in Richmond CA. I love the basa sandwich, chicken strips, peach cobbler and strawberry cake. And yams are very tasty. must try

My friend and I decided to check this spot out after a long hike. Wanted to support black owned businesses and was craving some good ol' seafood. I ordered the prawns sandwich with red beans and rice and my friend ordered the catfish sandwich with fries. The flavors of the prawns, catfish, and fries was on point! The red beans and rice had no flavor! The reason I'm giving this 3 stars was because we ordered sandwiches, but what we got was a slice of bread cut in half. I had like 4 prawns but it wasn't a sandwich. I was expecting something like a po boy. I will try this spot again and order something different.

First time here today. Great Southern food! I ordered the whiting and fries combo with a side of medium macaroni and cheese. The fries were sliced fat; offering a slight crisp which I prefer. The fish has a thick batter that was well seasoned. The side of tartar sauce and hot sauce complimented the taste. My friend had the same order except with the catfish, which was very tasty. Service was great. The owner was very helpful and took the time to know us as we sat and enjoyed the food. The potions are big! I’ll definitely be back.
