C J's Bbq & Fish

This joint serves some pretty good BBQ - probably the best that I've tried in the bay. I got the brisket and ribs - the meat was really tender and fell right off the bone (for the ribs). Sides were a bit small for the price but they were a nice complement to the marinated meat. A decent amount of seating inside. There's a TV on so you can sit back and enjoy your food. Service was great - the cashier and the cook were both really nice! Would definitely be back again to try their other meats.

What a hidden gem! We noticed the sign while entering the Travis AFB gate. Did a u-turn and headed straight there. The ribs are amazing! The folks running the place are some of the friendliest people; they're proud of what they are selling (and they should be). The BBQ ribs and brisket are incredible. I also ordered the fried catfish nuggets. The BBQ was much better so I ended up eating half of my husband's food. Which was fine, because the portion sizes of meat are plenty. We also enjoyed the macaroni salad. We'll definitely be back!!
