One of the best restaurants on the VCU Monroe Park Campus. If you live nearby it's a can't-miss. If you live far away it's worth the travel and parking.
The crust of their calzones and strombolis are absolutely perfection. The cheese is melty and delicious.
The combination plate with shish is very well seasoned.
They obviously take pride in their work, and they deserve it.
Don't park at Bookholders.
Falafel Pita was excellent, one of the best I've had. Will definitely order again.
I absolutely love this establishment! I am a fan and love a good Turkish coffee with baklava. I am also a huge fan of the falafel wrap. I enjoy the atmosphere and the experience.

Looking for your next love in food? Try these authentic tasting dishes, and you'll see the care and quality which goes into each. I know many people who love the food here too! I had mine delivered with Uber Eats, it arrived yummy and delicious.
I got the lamb gyro platter last night. i was taken care by AL, and let me tell you, he made sure i had the best eating experience. the service was quick and easy. and the food was amazing. i would definitely go again, this time with many more friends.
I just finished SCARFING down my lamb gyro wrap. It was so amazing. Highly recommend.
it was decent spot. not too big of a fan of hookah so it takes a bit to get used to the atmosphere inside.
guy acts a bit rude at taking orders, no welcome or hello/hi, he was alone working so maybe tired; but nonetheless, get your order in, pay first then wait for your dine-in food—not ideal if you want to earn tips but whatever works for him.
calzone was too good: 5 stars for it!!!!
beef sheesh kabab were nice too but white sauce wasn’t all that; but again 5 stars for presentation
tiny pita bread as “naan” which was cold, so not a fan of it at all.
Food is okay (Tried Lamb Gyro and Baklava.Apology for not up to the mark pictures). Price is reasonable. One thing to note is they will only allow you to stay there for 45 minutes as the place is small
I was told this was the place to come for some delicious falafels. The food was tasty. The falafels had a great texture. I added hummus. The employee; however, was not so great. He was borderline rude. He mumbled and didn't seem to want to repeat himself. He eventually smiled towards the end. It was odd, but I'll probably be back with fingers crossed for a different employee!
This place is the same as it ever was. The food was super good as always.
