Shawarma Shack

Love this place , BUT I will be honest and say it has changed over time. I started going around the time it first opened up . Around this time you could get the freshest , moist , delicious shawarma you've ever had . Nowadays the meats dry and when the meats dry in a Shawarma sandwich it completely takes away from how good the entire wrap is. None the less I love Shawarma and other than the home made ones I get from my friends Aunt , this is second best ive found in VA (First being my friends Aunts Shawarma)

We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. The taste is similar to the real thing. The chicken is well cooked but the bread was a little dry. Overall this place is really close to VCU which makes it the best option for a Lebanese cuisine without having to drive. The staff were helpful and polite and the order came out fast. Price is not a lot in comparison to other Lebanese places. overall OK.

I've been here a few times and ordered from here through Uber Eats a few times as well. When I first came here, I didn't think much of the shawarmas, but once I tried the Spicy Chicken Tawook shawarma, this place immediately became a priority! The tawook sauce along with the mix of garlic and with a tiny kick to it, just makes for an amazing shawarma! The fries, on the other hand, are not as consistent. They're very good, but I've had them more than once where they were a bit too soft instead of the crispiness I prefer. I even had the curly fries one time, and they were just burnt. Regardless, the fries are a mere side, it's the shawarma you come here for! The service is pretty quick and the workers are always really nice.

Currently eating a Shawarma Bowl from Shawarma Shack. I am impressed! CAVA has some competition here. My bowl has beef, lettuce, basmati rice, lettuce and their spicy sauce. The spicy sauce is hot enough to kick but very rich and flavorful, it is GOOD. The bowl is very good as well, i wish they had some spinach or romaine but flavor-wise thats not that important. They also give you a pita, its a thinner pita and kinda tough but im using it to soak up sauce so its all good. Definitely recommend, prices are hella reasonable, will be back!

Had an amazing experience when i tried this place for the first time. Since then i have ordered three times and the food is just amazing. Even the ubereat drivers where like it smells so good. Other then that people have asked me what are you eating because it smells so good. Thumbs up to the team. :)

Ordered chicken shawarma sandwich and a chicken kabob platter on Eatstreet for pickup. The manager greeted me enthusiastically and apologized for the wait after my food was ready (wasn't even that long to me!), And gave us a free baklava. I haven't tried the baklava. In case you couldn't tell, the platter is huge and delicious!
