Red House Ii

My Family has dined here for years when the kids were helpers and now they run the business. Food has always been fast, flavorful with great portions. They always accommodate special orders as well. I live out of state so I’m not sure when they stopped dining in service, but it won’t deter me from stopping in to get my fill.

Not much to look at - but who cares. The food is what counts. Food is good to very good. Not great, but reliable. Consistent. Some places you have to go there on certain days to get good food - probably because different people do the cooking on certain days. Red House is Red House everyday. The fried rice is only ok. But I love their pork egg foo yung and other dishes! I haven't had their chicken wings or ice tea- sorry. They have a thin staff and small lines can form. Try to call your order in first. The woman who works the front (register and phone orders) really hussles and gets your stuff together as fast as possible if you have to wait. Most folks understand and the waits usually aren't awful at all.
