Delicious pizza. Had the Flame Baked - Combination pizza and it was delicious. Friendly service. Value for money. Highly recommend.
My husband and I have eaten here multiple times in recent weeks and we absolutely love it! Apollo's meat lovers pizza is way better than other local restaurants like Burnetti Express, Mello Mushroom, Marco's, Papa John's, etc. The pizza is the perfect amount of sauce to cheese to topping to crust ratio. The food is consistently on point! We introduced our out of town relative to the keat lovers pizza today and he thoroughly enjoyed it, asking if there was a location near him. Apollo's is our new go-to. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive!
Good pizza!! I’m so picky with pizza and this was pretty good. NOT NY style. Italian style for sure. Not a bad thing, just important to know if that’s what you’re looking for. A bit less firm than what I usually lean toward, and they have the cheddar jalapeño poppers and not cream cheese which is always a bummer. But the pizza had amazing flavor. Rich (the owner) was so patient taking our order, really accommodating and kind. Checked on us and our meal, and was just so attentive without being overbearing! Can’t wait to return to this little Italian place and see how the rest of the menu tastes.
According to my 8 year old: It's delicious, has cool lights, I liked watching the fire and the pizza was so good it makes me want to dance.
Still love this place after all these years. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. The food isn't outstanding but it's always hot and good. Very consistent. Surprisingly good sandwiches and burgers given that it's a pizza place. Something for every family member. Ask for the fries to be extra crispy and they'll do it.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Apollo’s Pizza last night! We hadn’t been there in a while, although we used to order pizza there. So we decided to try the Pasta Night Specials. Every Monday, you get two full-size pasta entrees, each with a salad and garlic bread, for just $25.99. We had the house vinaigrette with our salads, and it was so good. The garlic bread was smothered in just the right amount of butter and garlic, and it was toasted - crispy on the edges, soft inside, such a delight. I had the manicotti, and my husband had the lasagna. Both were delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the garlic was especially fresh, and the lasagna had a spicy kick (maybe from a little fennel?) that really gave it some personality. As for the people who work there, they are always very friendly and professional, and service is fast. I think it was the owner who served us last night, but I’m not sure. We really enjoyed our date night, and we are excited to return another time to try the eggplant parmesan and spaghetti with meatballs. I thought I had taken a photo of the manicotti, but I was so excited, I guess I didn't.😆
The pizza was so so good!! It is a little pricier than what I would usually go for with pizza but it is definitely worth it!! We had a basic cheese pizza and just the two of us couldn’t help but finish off the whole thing😂😂super easy to order and pickup was fast. Thanks for a great dinner!
Best Wood fired Pizza in Richmond and surrounding Area. Fresh ingredients and old world classic Pizza. When ever we are with in 50 miles of Apollo's we are going. I've reviewed thousands of restaurants and this place is top 3 .
as a new yorker, a stoner, and a fat guy, i feel qualified to review this place as the absolute best pizza I've ever had, and i did a pizza eating tour of new york where i just ate pizza 3 meals a day from different places for 2 weeks and this is straight up the best pizza I've ever had
100 out of 10, straight up, if you haven't tried it, try it, you won't regret it
i get the huge cheese pizza for $20 and put my own toppings on at home to save money (even though it's not even a bad price here I'm just broke)

Great tasting food, and unlike some other places in Richmond, you get a good sized portion of food. I ordered the 6 inch steak sub combo and it was very filling and it came with a healthy amount of fries. The soda size was good too and you get free refills although I didn’t get a chance to refill because I was so stuffed from the food lol. and the cheesecake was really good! Friendly staff too, I was surprised to see the person working at the front counter actually take the time to have a fun conversation with the customers sitting next to me. I think it was about sports but I was too busy watching the Price is Right on their TV lol. Overall great place! I want to try the outdoor sitting area next time.
