Best bar ever. Patrick, Jackson and Brenna are so sweet and always talk to me when I come here. Food is delicious as hell and the drinks aren’t too expensive. Literally a safe haven for a closeted transgender girl. Wish I could rate 100 stars
This place was ok. Their drinks are alright and the vibe is very townie in my opinion. It was very quiet on a Thursday night, which might be a thing out here in the south. It’s worth while checking out though.
A fun and friendly gay bar/restaurant. It had waves of people come and go on a Thursday night. The bartenders were really friendly. People at the bar were friendly and the food was really good. I had crab cakes spinach and cole slaw, then a dish of wings. All very delicious. It was $5 martini night and the 3 different ones I had were very good.
The service was little unattended but one of the bartenders rescue the moment and after we got our food I'll tell you we had the best bar-food quesadillas ever
they were amazing
Recommended 100%
Just moved to Richmond and this bar is very close to where I live. The staff and owners are all incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is phenomenal and literally everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. The drinks and food are super well-priced. The regulars and customers are all super friendly, inclusive, and fun! Would recommend to anyone in the area or visiting! Patio in the back to chill, get some fresh air, and smoke for those that do. I’m slowly becoming a regular myself! :)
First time visiting here even though I was born in this city. Wings are good. Good vibes. Nice atmosphere. Please tip accordingly but stop trying marry and stalk the bartenders.
Loved everything. Was great experience will definitely go back. Great time good people 👍
I have been coming here off and on for 5 years. The staff is largely unchanged and I love them all. You know they treat their staff well when they stick around. Totally accepting and non judgemental space. The food is amazing and presented like you are in a five star resort. The crowd on the weekdays is like cheers with a lot of regulars. Very easy to get to know people. Excellent, laid back, and rewarding place.
Gay or straight, you need to come here. I do not work here and have no affiliation with Barcode. I'm just a loyal and happy patron.
This was my first time visiting. I was here on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and there was a small crowd of less than 12 people or so. The staff was friendly, and I had a good meal. The pulled pork is actually roasted here on premises for over 7 hours. The portions were very large and filling. As I understand it, it starts to get busy late at night, and it is more of a late night venue.
I have been frequenting this establishment for almost a decade now and I swear this place, not unlike a fine wine, only gets better with age. I am generally of the mind that such a haunt does not exist but the amazing staff at Barcode continue to prove me wrong. They make delicious cocktails and mixed drinks, provide great insight into life's problems, and are just fun to be around. On top of this, the food is delish. Quesadillas, chicken tenders, fries, loud music, drinks, and friends. Fun times.
