First time trying and visiting Richmond and they are absolutely the sweetest, most welcoming & loving people ❤️ I was given free cookies and drinks juuuust for a first time visit. The the warm feeling of genuine care is felt. 😊 thank you so much for delicious food and a wonderful experience that made my day that much better. Stay sweet and safe!

I’ve ordered DD from Big Herm’s twice, and very impressed both times!! I think they go above and beyond most places and it shows. I appreciate the care they take in following instructions on DD and the way everything is neatly packed with utensils. The fried shrimp were well seasoned, and arrived hot and crispy with very tasty cocktail sauce. You get a great deal with the shrimp portion, side, and best corn bread I’ve ever had. Collard greens and green beans were delicous and they’re vegetarian. Don’t skip dessert…chocolate pound cake comes with warm chocolate sauce. It’s like a cake/brownie hybrid and it’s the perfect solution to a chocolate craving. The cake itself is not overly sweet either. Big Herm’s, you are wonderful!

Ok, being a foodie that travels for work, I eat at a lot of local places. I will say this was way better than I expected. The food was cooked fresh to order, and was great!! I ordered the seafood combo plate with fries, I should have gotten the greens! The cornbread is out of this world and I want the recipe!! FRFR. I ate lunch there and will eat there again tomorrow afternoon before I fly out Wednesday morning. Definitely give them a try, they are take out only hence the rating on the atmosphere.

I found this place while looking for lunch on the way home.... and it was good! I ordered the wing basket. The food was served hot! This is a take out place, so ask for extra napkins if you're eating in the car! I couldn't eat the macaroni because there was too much oil in it, but other than that, I enjoyed my meal! Customer service was top notch!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the grilled shrimp salad!! It comes with roasted vegetables in the salad. I didnt know I liked zucchini and squash until I had this salad. Then the vinergarette is awesome!! Update: Also try the Buffalo Shrimp!! It is amazing, not too hot, perfection!! Michelle's pound cake is amazing as well and has a sauce that comes with it. I drizzle it on the pound cake.

Ordered the asparagus corn salad that comes with blackened chicken and a sweet and spicy vinaigrette.I added ranch to mine. It was delicious! Asparagus is a little too crunchy I like it softer but that’s a personal preference. I’m excited to try some other menu items. The sweet potatoes were the best I’ve ever had.
