I had my first visit here yesterday. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly! So were the customers. I loved my club sandwich too! This place reminds me of the old New York Deli that I loved in Carytown. This place is awesome!! I will definitely be back!

Our first visit and found the food very good. Friendly people and good service. Would certainly return.
Good subs.. I thought the food here was good. I've had the industrial and meatball sub. The prices are pretty darn expensive for what you get. At about $8 a sub, it is not cheap. The subs are about 6 inches and served with a pickle. No drink, no sides, no chips, sadly no leftovers. The food is very good, but most other delis would have you leaving stuffed. However the other selections I saw looked a little more generous, so you might want to try them out as well.
This is the Walt Disney of Ma and Pa delis. Get ready to be magically carried to Deli heaven via a vis their wonderful delights including New York style pastrami and owners that make you proud to be a hungry American in the Souths friendliest town.
Amazing sandwiches, deceitful prices.. The sandwiches are delicious, period. Good french bread, good size. BUT the website blatantly lies about the prices. There is no excuse for this, it's a website, i'm pretty sure you can edit it as you please. It's not like they are printing off new menus. I got the Mediterranean magic, the website says $6.99, my receipt $8.25. I'm sorry when we're talking sandwiches $1.25 is a big deal. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE.
I have withdrawal after about a month without a Coppolas fix. Pricey though. But worth the splurge every now and then .
Delicious!. The sandwiches are so yummy...definitely a go-to place for a good fresh panino.
Authentic NY Deli in Richmond.... This place wins the award for the most authentic SMELLING NY style deli in Richmond, and the food does not disappoint, although it has been a bit more pricey than most. Ingredient-wise, this is as close as you'll get to second avenue in Manhattan, so if you are a transplant, this is where you should go to feel at home!

Not enough!. You cannot claim to be an italian delicatessen and leave me hungry! Sub was very small for the price, get your act together!
Forget $5 Footlongs!. I cannot even begin to express my love for The South Bronx Club at Coppola's. Its basically a Reuben Club which is packed with lean corned beef, just enough kraut and the perfect dosage of 1000 island. I have also heard great things about The Industrial and The Cheese Columbo. Their pasta salad is also noteworthy because it is not overcooked or mushy and it contains lots of sun-dried tomatoes and cheese.

If you are craving a cold cut or a warm sandwich, this is the place for you! One of the best Italian deli’s we have been to. Sandwiches are deliciously amazing and big portions. They make them all to order and the service is great as well. We had a meatball sub (which my son proclaims is the best meatball sub ever), the industrial, and the turkey club lunch box that came with pesto pasta and a cookie. I would go back any day.
Great tiny little grill deli! They even made up a vegan dish for my friend. A super pleasant staff. The bathroom is down the stairs, scary...but kleen! Great food at a great price from a local establishment that's been there forever!!! We drove two hours to get lunch today! Totally worth it!
The gentleman taking our orders was extremely kind, and the selection of deli/Italian goods and desserts was a great surprise. Our sandwiches were ABSOLUTELY fabulous and we are already talking about coming back to try more of them!
Never in my life have I been to a place like Coppolas. Let me tell you, there is not another place in the world like it. It’s an amazing fantastic deli right in the middle of Carrytown. They have everything from amazingly savory pasty to the best sandwiches you have ever had in your life to beautifully made cannolis. My goodness they really have it all. They have by far the best sandwiches in the world, my favorite by far is the industrial, it melts in your mouth. I’m drooling thinking about it. I can’t recommend Coopolas enough it is a must stop no matter if you have been going there everyday for the last 20 years or you are just passing through. By far my favorite restaurant of all time!
First thing - great customer service A+. They have gluten-free options. I ordered a turkey pastrami on gluten-free bread and some potatoe salad...delicious. Took boyfriend a to-go Mushroom Cheesesteak, he found it very tasty. By the way I am from Philly so he knows a good Cheesesteak. Dine in, they bring the food to your table. I was also impressed with the wine a dessert selection. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
Neat little deli with authentic, handmade sandwiches and other Italian cuisine. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our order was made to our satisfaction. We ate our sandwiches inside with limited tables, but for good weather they have some additional outdoor seating. Coppola's has built a strong following in the Carytown area and beyond....and as you can see from the attached photo ...they have been doing it successfully since 1982....a must stop while in Richmond VA.
This place has the best deli sandwiches south of Pennsylvania. Fresh, delish, and whatever else rhymes with that. A great sandwich. PERIODT
Was recommended The Industrial sandwich and it did not disappoint. As someone who grew up in RI with ‘grinder’ shops everywhere toting the best ‘Italian Style’ sandwich… I was so thankful to find this place. No shredded ice berg lettuce but nice dark leafy lettuce with actual nutritional value! Small tomatoes instead of those tasteless beefsteak tomatoes that are so often thrown on sandwiches and plucked off. Bread was soft with a nice chew… soaked up the vinegar from the sweet and hot peppers nicely. I’m so impressed and thankful for these small substitutions and the thought put in to the food.

Best deli! You can get a delicious salad, antipasto, and any type of authentic sandwich! They have so much to offer. The staff and service is always attentive, pleasant and quick. This is a great pop in mid day and have a sandwich at the window bar with a peroni beer type spot! I highly recommend this establishment. You won't be disappointed. Their cheese steaks are wickedly delicious btw.
Been going here since high school and this place is still going strong and just as good as the first time! Amazing service and people! Since I’ve moved away from Richmond, I always try to stop on in when I am in town visiting friends and family. I took a friend from Roanoke to eat here and he said it was incredible! Love this place! Miss this place! See y’all soon, and keep up the great work. Thank you for serving Richmond for as long as y’all have! 🥰
