This place not only makes the best gelato I have ever had in the United States (I’ve traveled through Italy and France, trust me I know what GREAT gelato tastes like!!!), but the owners are very active in the work to support their immediate community. My boyfriend and I live right across from this place and wanted to try it out. Its a little hidden but the place is great. We suggested a matcha green tea flavor since the ice cream shop on Broad st stopped making it and they really made it! It was delicious and I was given an extra scoop for free after I found a hair. The customer service is phenomenal and everyone here is so nice. They even have boozey flavors, i’m for sure coming here from now on for my gelato fix.

Flavors choices were fun, the fig balsamic was delicious, the blueberry Ginger was delicious....
Perfectly located in a "old times" section of Jackson Ward, so it enchantress the ambience of going to this wonderful sure. I would recommend this to anyone in the area who wants something to compare their normal gelato retreat to. I think stoplight had caught onto the look and feel that I like for a quick stop into any dessert shop

The place has a lot of character and charm. There are a plethora of choices gelato. Oh and you can try as many as you like. And there are some unusual flavors. For instance I had a raisin balsamic. It was absolutely delicious. The people were very nice. Our daughter lives around the corner. This will become a tradition when we go to visit her.

My wife and I were very first customers on the opening day of their new business. The staff were very friendly and gave us tastings of their flavors which were extremely delicious! I LOVE THIS PLACE. Literally the cutest, happiest place in Richmond. Barbara and her staff are the absolute best, Lola (her puppy, who has permission from the health board to be in the store front) happily greets guest during the weekend, and the ice cream is SO good! Made with tons of love.

The woman who runs this place is truly inspirational. She is caring and honest and so hardworking! She made sure my sandwhich was fresh and just how I wanted it. Their Gelato flavors are fantastic- there is a great variation of flavors to chose from, as well as non-dairy options! Awesome spot that deserves all the support the Jackson Ward neighborhood has to offer.

I love this Gelato place. So many different flavors, great #vegan options... My favorites are pistachio, lemon basil and strawberry basil. Ms. Barbara(the owner) is almost always there and her puppy is adorable.

The gelato here is awesome and they even have lactose free/vegan options. The owner is very friendly and wanted to make sure we enjoyed everything. They also have coffee, pastries, sandwiches and pizza. My friend and I had the pizza, which was also very good. The prices are very reasonable.

Never met an 80 yr old restaurant owner until now. Barbara not only served our group some great gelato but then told her story on why she decided to start a business in her 80s.
