This was my first time here. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted, asked how many, and promptly sat. The atmosphere was great, my order was taken within minutes and, hot fresh food was before me quickly. Great place and I will be going back. Thank you all for a fantastic experience.

Got takeout from here tonight to try this place out. We had such a good meal I wanted to make sure and leave a review! Everything tasted fresh down to the fried items and dolmades (the filling was perfection.) We got the appetizer sampler, moussaka, and chicken parm and we loved everything. My moussaka came with a side of yiahni and I could probably make a meal just of those alone. My partner said the interior was really cute as well.

I have a friend (often joined by others) who goes out to dinner with me every Friday we can. Girls’ Night! The food is always mouthwatering and beautiful. It’s hard for me to steer away from moussaka with rice pilaf. So good! I love a good mixed drink and I wish theirs were as good as the food. However, the food will always draw me back. Made a reservation for tomorrow! 😊

Went to visit my son and his roommate at VCU and my daughter saw this restaurant on a prior visit and wanted to try it. I have to say everything was amazing. Started with the bread along with olive oil and a blend of spices. Had the calamari and spanakopita as appetizers, and both were delicious! My daughter and I both had the Greek Spaghetti, and it was sooo delicious. My son had Chicken Parmesan I believe, and his roommate had the Gyro. All the portions were massive!! Even the sweet tea was delicious! This restaurant was a pleasant surprise, and the service was fantastic. This will definitely be our go to spot when at VCU. Pizza is on the list next for my son, so we will be back. Everyone should try this restaurant if in the area.Thanks for a delicious dinner and great service Greek Taverna!

Came here for my birthday. Absolutely delicious! We got the Greek fries, the tavern spaghetti, and a gyro. It was ravishing. And the portions were massive! $14 for my spaghetti and I couldn't even get through half of it. I will definitely be returning if I visit Richmond again. Greater server, nice and funny guy. Thank you so much for a great meal!
