My husband and I got our wedding cupcakes from Carytown and they were AMAZING. The lemon blueberry are to die for. The owner was so accommodating even with changing the flavors/amounts various times. Guests loved them, and they were very reasonably priced. Thanks for the best cupcakes ever!
Good selection. My Lemon Lovers cupcake was delicious. The kids had a great time watching the decorators in the kitchen through the window. It was a fun place to visit.
I have never been disappointed with any of the vegan cupcakes I've eaten at Carytown Cupcakes. I love the fun flavor combinations! The last time I went, they said the cookies are vegan too 😋

My partner and I used Carytown Cupcakes for cartering our wedding. The employees were extremely helpful in arranging a tasting for us to start, and remained extremely receptive of our requests all the way through to the big day. The cupcakes were a hit with the guests, and our personal wedding cake was delicious. We would recommend considering CC for more than just a quick, sweet treat based on our positive experience!
I was pleasantly surprised with the vegan cupcakes. They are the best cupcakes I have ever eaten 😋 I wanted to treat myself to something for Mother's day since I am stuck in the house caretaking my own Mother 24/7. They arrived way sooner than expected and the quality and freshness was amazing. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!
Super sweet tooth here 👋🏻 was really excited to try out this store! 4 stars because the red velvet cupcake was not all that great unfortunately, dry cake and not enough frosting for my taste- needs a filling or something. My friends had a salted caramel and speculoos cookie butter that were really amazing! Store front was decently cute. Super busy with in person orders and phone calls so maybe I just had a dud with the red velvet- would Re try 😊
We got married in Richmond, VA 9/9/23 and purchased about 70 cookies from carytown cupcakes to include in our welcome bags. We really wanted to represent local restaurants in our gifts to our guests because Richmond has lots of gems - one being Carytown Cupcakes. We are glad we did because the cookies were a hit! They were big so we could include 1/bag and they even offered gluten free options for our select guests as well. They also individually packaged the cookies for a small additional fee. Would highly recommend for any wedding or large event.
We contacted Carytown Cupcakes two weeks before our wedding, and they were so helpful! They got our order down right away and provided options for delivery and arranging the cupcakes!
Love love love this place. I haven’t eaten a cupcake I did not like. Their vegan cupcakes are one of the best I ever had. My favorite flavor is Vegan Chai cupcake and I wish it was a permanent flavor. I used to love their vegan vanilla bean cupcake but lately it taste different, I think they changed the recipe as is not as good as it used to be. In another note, my favorite non vegan cupcake is Red Velvet. Also, I like they serve beers and other drinks. Finally, the service is always quick and barely there is long lines.
Absolutely delicious. With so many great flavours to choose from, I got the chic chip oreo and I was not disappointed, it was one of the best cupcakes I have ever had. I didn't stop think about how good it was for quite some time after.
