Fantastic Cuban sandwich with jalapeno peppers and spicy mustard. A cold Vienna beer on a hot afternoon with leftover food for dinner.
What a fabulous photo eatery! Stopped in on a whim last week when none of the other restaurants in the area tempted us! Fantastic pear and blue cheese salad. The bruschetta is the absolute best I have ever eaten!
Had to stop in the next morning for breakfast and as a result had breakfast there each morning we were in town. Excellent food and the everything bagel is fabulous!
Mom is a delight to chat with! Wish I lived much closer than Pennsylvania.
Let me start out by saying this establishment is a MUST for anyone in the area. We travel weekly for our job so we try different restaurants weekly in several states. By far, Buttermilk and Honey is officially our number one favorite restaurant in all of our travels.
From their pimento cheese balls to the macaroni and cheese to their fried chicken sandwiches to their chicken and French toast! Everything was DELICIOUS! 10 out of 10!
The staff are phenomenal! We had the great pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Nolan and the fabulous Miss Elizabeth. We can’t say enough great things about both of them. They were kind, considerate, friendly and humble. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to the area. If you haven’t been it is time to change that immediately!! Enjoy the juiciest and crispiest most delicious chicken you will ever eat!

I tried 3 of the chicken sandwiches: the cordon Bleu, the Korean one, and a plain one. They were all really good. The side options are French fries, collard greens or French toast. The French fries are seasoned with something like old bay. All very delicious.
Chicken sandwich is very fresh, moist and thick! You know it’s real chicken. The service staff weren’t very sociable or friendly when I arrived, but that could have been the time! You order at a computer and pick it up yourself! Free refills on iced tea is self serve. A quick place to eat, I’m not sure I would go for anything other than a quick meal on the go!
Buttermilk and Honey was the perfect way to introduce us to Richmond cuisine! The pimento Mac and cheese was amazing! And the pickled onions on the salad were top notch! Pickled onions on a salad should be the standard. So delicious!

This cute chicken-only shop is so good! The breading is delicious and the options for sauces is broad. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. It can get busy but the ordering system is easy and quick to use.
This is a pretty nice place to grab a sandwich and eat. The workers/staff here are nice and friendly and the place is great for dine-in.
I got an Asian Persuasion, which was like a fried chicken sandwich with some chicken sauce and kimchi slaw. The slaw and the bun weren’t anything special, but the chicken was nice and cooked. The order also comes with fries, which they give a lot of but is a bit soft. The total for a sandwich and fries will probably come out to $13-14 if you don’t order anything extra.
Must try fried green tomatoes starter. Very delicious.
Order Dirty Bird and Cordon Bleu with fries and coleslaw. Both are exceptional and freshly made.

I ordered vegan Nashville chicken with coleslaw and it was delicious. A bit messy to eat, but flavorful.
My friend ordered regular Nashville with fries.
She enjoyed her meal as well.

First time in the area and was looking for good local eats- omg am i glad we came across buttermilk and honey! My cousins and I were visiting the city of Richmond for a convention and this was within our path, a few others have said how incredible it was here and wow… were we blown away. the hospitality of the staff and food went above and beyond our expectations! not too long of a wait either on a saturday afternoon (4pm), it was about 10-15mins! everything was hot and fresh, exceptionally delicious; would absolutely recommend to anyone who is contemplating it :)
