We were here on a office holiday lunch, such a cozy and classic dine in restaurant. Ordered seared salmon, its cooked to perfection. But portions are too small. Chicken roast tasted good as well. Wonderful deserts, especially tiramisu and chocolate torte were so yummy.
Simply elegant Italian-American restaurant with a relaxed & quiet aura. My wife & I ordered Escargots (appetizer), Tomato Basil (soup of the day), Duck Breast with orange garlisque, polenta & vegetables and Lamb Osso (five-hour braised shank) with polenta & vegetables (entrèes). Our waitress went out her way to give my wife a non-alcoholic cocktail as I drank Brooklyn Lager; which was a nice compliment. We enjoyed our evening listening to light music in a lightly dimmed and quiet environment within the restaurant. One thing that stood out to me was their kitchen/grill by the bar area where you can view the chef cooking. Lastly, the pricing I placed as moderate; due to my experience eating at Italian-American specialty restaurants and the common price range for dishes. For the price, it's worth it--in my opinion.
Went on a Thursday, pretty quiet only one other couple there celebrating a birthday. The server, Jess, was very kind and attentive. The cook as well was kind and wished us well. Jess was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. Will return for sure!
