Wonderful meal. I had fried shrimp as an appetizer - delicious sauce and coleslaw accompanied the 5 lightly breaded, toasty shrimp. Not overcooked and plump.
The entree was roasted cauliflower, puree, basil oil, and three large perfectly seared sea scallops. So mouthwatering!
Dessert was a deconstructed dark chocolate torte. Rich and heavenly!
Lots of parking spaces but they fill up really quickly (6-7 timeframe). Service was quick and professional. Hostesses were very welcoming and helpful. Friendly bar service - very nice Riesling offered.

Welcome back! I missed you!! always one of my favorite culinary experiences in Richmond. It’s so sad to see them go. Well they are back and with a lot of improvements on the menu. Highly recommend coming to the new and improved Acacia. I had fried oysters, baked oysters, and the rockfish. And of course the crabcake, which is even more improved, which I don’t know how it’s possible. Can’t wait to go back.

The waitress was very helpful in answering questions about the food. She was friendly and professional. The food tasted good. The crab cake burger was delicious. Although they cook the food to order, it does take some time for it to come to the table.

Nice atmosphere for a group of 6 to enjoy. The curry lobster roll didn't have a hint of curry taste, so it was just ok. The nice gentleman who waited on us was not as attentive as we needed, we could not catch his attention to get more drinks. We will likely try it again.

Richmond is home to several amazing restaurants, and Acacia is right up there at the top! The food is consistently very well prepared and presented, and the menu offers both old favorites and creative, "new" dishes. Last night, my husband had the Mahi Mahi, which was extraordinary! Should have taken a picture. . . the medley of vegetables alongside the fish was beautiful! I had the steak, which was seasoned and grilled perfectly, and came with a perfectly dressed salad and the best French fries I've had in a long time!
Cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant. It is a great place to gather! Very welcoming, in every way! Young and old alike, in a full range of attire, enjoying great food in a lively, comfortable space.

Brand new Libbie Mill occupancy, although the restaurant has a following. There is plenty of parking. Reservations recommended. Coat storage in the front of the restaurant. Gender neutral bathrooms that include shared vanities with separate stalls.

Outstanding meal experience shared by all four in our group. The Soft Crabs were incredible! Service could have been a little bit better, as the trainee that evening left a little to be desired. Overall though, a much better than average experience across the board. Count us in as repeat customers.

My wife and I went for dinner at Acacia.. the new restaurant has a wonderful vibe. The food was outstanding. For appetizers we had the scallops aguachile and tuna ceviche. Both have a wonderful Latin American feel and the use of avacados made both dishes excellent. Dinner, we had the sautéed soft shell crabs and they are perfection. Wine list is always unique and interesting whites and reds. We started with two Said and Done cocktails that are wonderful way to start your evening. This restaurant needs to be back on your list of go to eateries in Richmond.
