Review Sugar Shack Donuts - Richmond

Service here was very friendly. They offered a huge selection of donuts and several cute options for Halloween. I found the donuts to be a bit dry and chewy. Some of them seemed a little stale. However my son loved the decorations.

Slow service but really tasty doughnuts, they taste different than other doughnuts I've had in Richmond. The strawberry tastes like actual strawberries rather than artificial flavour, super nice. Never had a strawb doughnut like it. Edit: Service has been much faster than the first time I went, and the strawbs are still just as awesome. The cold fashioned cake doughnuts are super good, too!

Donuts were yummy! I was disappointed they no longer have gf, but they made it up to me in store and assured me they are currently working on a new gf batch with new vendors. They werent sure it would happen at that location but still good to know! Thanks Sugar Shack, we will be back! My daughters fave was the Party Time!!

Great cold brew, but more importantly, a wonderful and tasty af selection of donuts, and including the best selection of vegan donuts I’ve seen. This place rules.

The two young girls that was working was so sweet and had great energy! My son was excited about the shark week donuts and said it was so good !! I hope one day you guys will have a gluten free donut

Stopped on a road trip due to a promised donut for our 6 yr old. We were all glad we did. In her words "it's a wave of chocolatey sprinkle goodness." The sour cream was on point, and the tartness of the lemon poppy was perfect. The other three were meant for tomorrow but won't make it home

Leaving a review just for the donuts. Lots of great vegan options. We really liked the chalk in the Nila sprinkles, strawberry, espresso, and one with Cap’n Crunch, or some other kind of cereal on top. It was really good. The coffee is unfortunately not good at all (and I’m really not that intense about coffee). If you expect car dealership community coffee you will not be disappointed. Bonus points for great customer service though, without hesitation they swapped out iced coffee for the more tolerable hot coffee.

I went to sugar shack for the first time in person.The young woman working the front has the kindest soul. The oatmilk pistachio latte I had was amazing. Such great vibes. So many vegan options to choose from. Will be coming here a lot haha

We were in Richmond downtown and were looking for a quick place to have coffee and donut. We searched near us and decided to have coffee and donut from Sugar Shack. From the menu we ordered Spice Pie Latte and Donut. The order was quick and soon we got our coffee as well as donut. The spice pie latte was an amazing coffee with freshly roasted coffee and amazing fall taste. The donut was also good. A good coffee shop definite to have an amazing coffee and donut.

Fun, little doughnut and burger place. We ended getting a couple of doughnuts for breakfast, but would definitely come back to try more. The doughnuts were great, and the prices were really good too. If I had to improve one thing, I would say I wish there was somewhere inside or outside to sit, so that you don't have to eat in the car or find somewhere else to go.

The donuts and coffee are delicious and the service is wonderful, but what I really find amazing are the custom donuts Maggie and her team create! 12-18" delicious masterpieces or even a custom themed dozen, YUM!

Just amazing customer service and a very friendly clientele. I got the Vegan Nashville Chicken Sandwich with vegan bacon and my bf got the Maple Bacon Beef Sandwich with a donut as a bun. Both of us loved our orders! For desert we got 3 donuts that knocked our socks off. There's no indoor seating, but there's a middle school across the street with some benches to use if its after hours.

Plenty of vegan options. *NOTE* the donut prices are set up by shelf and labeled by “Classic” “Special” and “House” so you can match the price on the board with the donut label. I went tug Chocolate glaze chocolate chip and salted caramel glaze. They’re a cross between yeast and cake donuts so they’re a denser than yeast and lighter than cake. Lots of non-vegan options also. Well priced (two of my donuts pictured were $3.45).

Don't miss out on this gem of a spot! We drove for 2h to get there and will surely do it again.

Sugar Shack is hands down the best doughnut shop around. The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful and the vibe of the place is always great. Their samoas are the best, especially when it's not Girl Scout season! Thanks for all you do Sugar Shack (and for expanding to my hometown at VA Beach!).

My first Sugar Shack donut was in June when I came to Stafford, Va. for my grandson's high school graduation. I had the salted caramel. I was not able to get that delicious donut out of my head. When I returned in November for my daughter's OCS graduation at Quantico. my first stop was Sugar Shack. Yes, I had the salted caramel (2 exactly) and was in heaven all over again. Since then, I have done all kind of research to obtain franchise information. I would love to introduce Atlanta to Sugar Shack. When I tell you Sugar Shack makes donuts to dream about, believe me, and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is, that is, if there is room after the salted caramel.

I love your coffee flavor options. The only other place I've been able to enjoy a Lavender Vanilla Almond milk latte is in Ghent. Your vegan donuts are the BEST! However, I wish you offered vegan options everyday though because sometimes I'm working out of town the days you have them and the days I'm here at home they're not offered. But overall, my favorite coffee + sweets shop in RVA.

It was my first time going yesterday and I will be definitely be going back. The staff was very helpful explaining the menu the prices and the flavors. Also, hands down the best doughnuts around.

The bacon topped donuts are superb. BIG bacon! One whole piece chipped on top.

I had a great experience at the Lombardy location. Plenty of selections, friendly staff and the donuts were tasty. I picked one with kit kat crumbled on top and another with chocolate chips and vanilla coating. We will be back.

Best donuts I've ever had, nice vibe. Good coffee, great prices, super friendly staff. Only wish there was more seating or inviting scenery but nice to sit outside on a nice day ���
