This place is so close to home, and I'm sad that it took us this long to find it.
They have amazing dinner specials with rice, soup, and a 3 piece appetizer (crab puff, spring roll, and fried wing) per person.
Our family of 5 can eat there for around $100, almost always less. The portions are so large that 3 of us always take half our meal for the next day!
Their hot & sour soup is the best I've had in the Sugar Land/ Richmond /Rosenberg area. And their kung pao IA no joke. I don't like spicy stuff, and their chefs are very accommodating.
It has become our regular dine-in and take-out place that never disappoints.
This is our all-time favorite Chinese food restaurant. We’ve been ordering from them for a decade! Their delivery is also lightening fast.
I have been eating for a long time now. I’ve seen my share of people and the new owners are very nice. At first it took a little getting used to for certain foods since they had a new cook but overall I enjoy it here. The workers are always smiling and polite. The make the take out orders pretty quick and if I order for delivery, they are fast as well. The prices are fair considering almost all meals take meat. We feed a family of five and we usually spend around 40-50 bucks. My favorite is the chicken fried rice. So basic I know. Anyway I highly recommend this place. I like to watch the kids learning music next door through the glass window.
I love the food they make! Great place to eat in or take out. Friendly staff to welcome you and to serve you. One of my favorite places to bring out of town guest.

If you want a review that is something other than how their pepper steak with fried rice is then I’m not going to be able to help you. But if you are…. It’s really good and the portion size is nice. Staff is friendly and the food always comes out quickly.
Ordered a meal for an occasion, we don't eat out due to having high risk family members... but decided to order online delivery. Was very pleased with the timing and it showed up HOT! Bonus that our delivery driver was wearing a mask and waited outside our gate to assure we got the delivery, and thanked me for the tip! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the general tso, it was kind of chewy and burnt tasting, every other entree we got was delicious, though. Very pleasant experience. Will most likely order from there again!
So far everything Ive ordered has been real good. (Orange chicken, orange beef, hot sour soup, wonton soup, egg drop soup, lettuce wraps, chicken noodle soup, spring rolls, general tso's chicken) Great lunch menu with very reasonable prices!! Quick delivery
I LOVE this place!! Everything on the menu is great. Their shrimp is to DIE for! And their egg rolls, pad thai, and lettuce wraps... I could go on forever. Delivery is super quick too. They must also be doing something right with their staff because their drivers have always been pleasant. Orient Cafe is hands down my go-to restaurant in the Pecan Grove area.
The food is always good and delivery is fast! With very little choices in the Richmond area that deliver, Orient Cafe is my favorite. I personally have never had a bad experience and we order from here at least 2 times a month for the past two years. Mongolian Beef is yummy and they have great family dinner deals.
