SUPERB sushi and entrees. We have been frequent customers at Da Pineapple Grill for over five years now, and continue to love their food. We are so glad there's a place like this close by, saving us a trip to travel elsewhere for a good meal. We love the mahi mahi plate, the bento box, and the honolulu sampler which has an amazing combination of various sushi displayed, along with their signature dipping sauces. The food portions are significant, and well worth the price. Atmosphere is relaxing, and service is friendly. If they are extremely busy, we understand our meals will take a little longer, like anywhere else. We were offered a complimentary appetizer which was appreciated. No complaints there. We've been to other places which doesn't compare to the uniqueness, creativity, flavor, and freshness of their foods. We have a holiday gathering coming up, and will be there again to celebrate!
Definitely a family restaurant, friendly noise level. Not licensed so no Saki to go with dinner. Good selection of sushi.
Amazing Food and an "Island Pace". I will start by saying this definately one
of my favorite restaurants in the entire southeast Idaho area. The sushi menu is very extensive and has many items for everyone from sushi lovers to the first time sushi eater. And as a sushi lover, to my pleasant surprise I found the sushi amazing. There are a lot of non sushi and non seafood items as well. Everything is island inspired on the menu. The only downfall is the service is also island inspired and you can wait for a while. To end on a positive note, the desserts are worth the money. The cheesecakes and ice creams are not heavy, but incredible. Buy dessert. You won't regret it.
BOTTOM LINE: if you havesome time to wait for your food and just a little extra money, the wait is well worth it.
Sushi in Idaho. I know it sounds a little weird, eating raw fish in "no-where" Idaho. But this place can be surprising. Much higher quality sushi than expected. Healthy portions that won't disappoint. This place may be a little over priced for most college students in this town, but it is definitely worth a little splurge every once in a while. And if your date isn't down with the raw fish, they have a wonder Hawaiian grill that refuses to let you go home hungry.
The teriyaki chicken is so so goooood!! Loved the flavors of the chicken as well as the sauce!!! (I had it taken out once and the fries was soft, sad! Dine in experience had been great though!) The server was super cheerful and kind, matched the vibe of the restaurant! Sushi was ordinary.
Seriously so good here! We don't eat sushi hardly ever but we were in the mood for something different and it did not disappoint!
Our favorites were the Red Dragon Roll and Shrimp Tempura. Super tasty!

I rarely ever give 5 stars. Maybe 5% or less of the time. This place is five stars. I didn't expect much from any restaurant way out in the country of Idaho but this place was fabulous and reasonably priced. We ordered a special sushi, tiki burgers, tempura shrimp, and da pineapple chicken.

Great food, great service, great ambiance. You will feel like you're in Hawaii! Definitely try their specialty drinks and their Mango Guava Cheesecake. We had such a fun date here. We'll definitely be coming back!
After moving from Texas I have been in utter despair over the lack of quality food present in rexburg Idaho, thankfully after months of searching I have finally found a safe haven for my palate…. Da Pineapple grill , our outstanding and amazing server Daniel graciously provided us with the most amazing food this town has to offer. If you are looking for a scrumptious meal that will satisfy your soul look no further. The fries, the burger, the sushi, the appetizers everything straight from heaven. Service 10/10, food 12/10

I wish my stomach was bigger!! This is some of the best sushi I have had. I’m actually taking it home and I don’t usually do leftovers. Our waiter, Eli, was incredibly nice and helpful. The servings were really decent sized. They even had a gluten free option for one of my friends. 10x10 review 😄😄
I haven’t tried much aside from the sushi, but I think it’s the BEST in Rexburg! The fried sushi is the bomb! Landon was a great waiter too!
