Highly recommend! Wonderful oysters, the best crab cakes outside of Baltimore! If you're blessed enough to have Morgan as your server she's icing on the perfect cake!
This was our first dining experience at Red's and I must say I was blown away. Our server was amazing and she had all of the spot on recommendations. Amazing dinner and drinks on the lake. This is my go to spot every time I come back to visit Reston from here on out.

I've been to this venue three times, twice for lunch and once for dinner. I sat at the bar, patio, and table. The patio provides an unrivaled view of South Lake but be warned that the sun sets on the patio side and it can become hot during the summer months.
My preferred dining area is the bar area as you one has the fastest acces to the bartender and ordering...not to mention you can also catch a glimpse of the chef at work from the right angle.
You can't go wrong with anything on the menu... the signature drinks deliver with flavor and appropriate alcohol. The chicken sandwich, calamari, crab cakes, gnocchi, cheese balls....all are items I would purchase again. The crab cakes in particular are a standout for me because the chef lays the cakes vegetables, roasted kale, corn, carrots, and diced red pepper. It's drizzled with a spicy aoli, and the crab is actually jumbo.
If I had to be particular, I would argue that I haven't had a dessert here that I would have to try again. The Creme Brulee serving is generous and could serve 2. The brownie sundae is served on a hit skillet that causes the exceptional scratch ice cream to melt rather quickly. Perhaps the appetizers and entrées deliver so profoundly that the dessert performance lands with less fervor in comparison.
At any rate, I'm more than willing to travel an hour to get here, and it's my go to spot when in the area. The staff is attentive and patient and the waiters have recommendations. A+ dining experience....
We stopped in for drinks and a bite at the bar. The beer selection was very good as was Laure's spicy margarita. She had wings and I had bisque and a couple of oysters - all were very good. The bartender was very friendly and helpful.

I hosted a brunch for my bridesmaids on a Saturday, and when I inquired about the private room, Ryan responded quickly and made accommodations for us.
The day of, the hostess was so sweet and friendly as the first face I saw that day. The team at Red's Table allowed me to come in early and set up the room exactly as I wanted it, and Craig helped me with situating the room and tables how I wanted.
We had such a wonderful afternoon celebrating and the private room is spacious and classic! We absolutely loved the food and I look forward to hosting more events at Red's Table!

Roxanna provided excellent service for our party of 6 birthday celebration. The atmosphere, food, and manager were perfect at this local hot spot but still a hidden gem. I had the perfectly paired short rib and brownie dessert, and the expense was modest. I can't wait to return!
Our first time here, and we really enjoyed it. Service was great and the food was delicious. We want to return in warmer weather for a table overlooking the lake.
We had an absolutely amazing company holiday party at Red’s. From the start they were communicative, engaged, and dedicated to making our event exactly what we wanted. The food was some of the best I’d ever had; I would recommend anything on their menu. The event went smooth and we always had someone to accommodate our needs. With a party of 50, that isn’t easy. They have some of the friendliest and helpful staff. This is a local gem and I’m hesitant writing this review because I would love to keep it our secret. Ryan and Craig, we appreciate you and thank you for making this a night we won’t forget.
Absolutely beautiful view of the lake at any season, but especially throughout the fall. Great locally sourced menu, good selection of dishes, and a very friendly service in this neighborhood restaurant. Highly recommend for both lunch and dinner with colleagues or friends.
Overall great experience, we had Steak Frites and Salmon. The steak had to be returned to cook more but I was accommodated very well. Servers were great.
Nice experience, enjoyed the view and the food. Everything tastes great.
It might be a one time problem, but it seemed the kitchen vent was connected inside the restaurant.
Clam chowder was flavorful, with lots of bacon. The burger was juicy, although I could imagine it with more sauce, I had french fries as a side dish, it was soggy, soft, and soaked with oil, didn't liked that at all.
