We had an absolutely amazing company holiday party at Red’s. From the start they were communicative, engaged, and dedicated to making our event exactly what we wanted. The food was some of the best I’d ever had; I would recommend anything on their menu. The event went smooth and we always had someone to accommodate our needs. With a party of 50, that isn’t easy. They have some of the friendliest and helpful staff. This is a local gem and I’m hesitant writing this review because I would love to keep it our secret. Ryan and Craig, we appreciate you and thank you for making this a night we won’t forget.

First visit: The food was great! The service wasn't the best. Our server disappeared about halfway through the dinner. Another server came by to deliver the food and fill our water glasses. I ordered a glass of wine from him that never came. It wasn't crowded, but I do think they only had 2 or 3 servers working. Second visit: I stopped by tonight for a quick bite. I had planned to sit at the bar, but they were hosting a party that had the bar area looking like a nightclub. Instead, I was seated on the patio, which is enclosed and has heaters for the cooler weather. I ordered a cocktail from their seasonal list and the mussel appetizer. I'm not sure where they sourced the mussels from, but about half of them had a lot of dirt/grit inside. Obviously not the kitchens fault, but their supplier is not providing the best quality to them. Then, the server who delivered my dish left the bowl of mussels on top of the discard bowl, hiding the tiny fork from sight. I'm not sure why he didn't separate the dishes to their usable state, especially since I was the only one at the table, but I did think that it would have been better for the server to lay out the dish in the way it should be used instead of leaving everything to me to basically unpack.

I can attest to the wonderful food, drinks, ambiance, and service that Red's Table serves up in Reston on the regular. BUT such a hidden gem for events and special occasions!!!! The team at Red's Table made our corporate party an outstanding success last week. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that their staff's commitment to ensuring our event was memorable was unwavering. Their ability to jump in and assist with every detail truly stood out. We were impressed by the exceptional level of service and attentiveness throughout the evening. Special recognition to the bartender and wait staff, whose warmth and graciousness made our guests feel right at home. We received numerous compliments on the drinks and service, and it contributed immensely to the overall positive experience. Beyond the excellent service and food, Red's Table provided the perfect local backdrop for our exciting rebrand soft launch party. The ambiance and setting contributed to the welcoming and lively atmosphere we were aiming for. The restaurant's location in Reston truly exemplified the local hospitality we were looking to showcase to our staff and stakeholders. We are immensely grateful for your hospitality and service. Red's Table exceeded our expectations, and we are thrilled with the outcome of our event. I've been to this venue three times, twice for lunch and once for dinner. I sat at the bar, patio, and table. The patio provides an unrivaled view of South Lake but be warned that the sun sets on the patio side and it can become hot during the summer months. My preferred dining area is the bar area as you one has the fastest acces to the bartender and ordering...not to mention you can also catch a glimpse of the chef at work from the right angle. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu... the signature drinks deliver with flavor and appropriate alcohol. The chicken sandwich, calamari, crab cakes, gnocchi, cheese balls....all are items I would purchase again. The crab cakes in particular are a standout for me because the chef lays the cakes vegetables, roasted kale, corn, carrots, and diced red pepper. It's drizzled with a spicy aoli, and the crab is actually jumbo. If I had to be particular, I would argue that I haven't had a dessert here that I would have to try again. The Creme Brulee serving is generous and could serve 2. The brownie sundae is served on a hit skillet that causes the exceptional scratch ice cream to melt rather quickly. Perhaps the appetizers and entrées deliver so profoundly that the dessert performance lands with less fervor in comparison. At any rate, I'm more than willing to travel an hour to get here, and it's my go to spot when in the area. The staff is attentive and patient and the waiters have recommendations. A+ dining experience....

We simply love Red's Table. This is a great neighborhood restaurant with a good, interesting menu and staples for every taste. There are great vegetarian options and kids LOVE the pasta. The outdoor seating area is a favorite throughout the year. They provide heaters as it gets cooler out and it's completely shaded and lovely in spring/summer. The live music is a hit for adults and kids alike. Our kids have really enjoyed the open mike nights and we love exposing them to local artists.
