Sushi? Ok

I waited 45 minutes for my appetizer and my daughter waited an hour for her first roll. They asked us if we needed anything else before we ever got our food. I had to remind them 3 times about our orders. They apologized multipule times and assured us it was a couple minutes till we got our food and them they would forget about it again for another 20 mins. The rice was mushy and we ended up paying $70+ for 2 all you can eat and one roll for my daughter. No drinks or extras.... NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

Went there on a Saturday afternoon to get a bite before starting working on a few adjustments to an experiment setup. We picked the location due to its close proximity to the UNR campus. From outside, the venue didn't look much, but everything changes once they serve you the food. So yeah, everything was great. They prepared custom sushi for a friend who is vegan. Service was great from both behind the counter and at the table. My dish was almost perfect, albeit a bit dry, mostly due to me interfering with their recipes. :) Soup and starters were top notch. I will definitely visit this establishment again in the near future.

The rice was at least one day old, and the fish was not fresh. To be fair, it IS an all-you-can-eat sushi bar, and while the chef was experienced and the staff friendly, I won't be returning. My experience here compared to other sushi bars in town was not good. If they want to beat the competition, they need to focus on their food quality.

It wasn't the worst sushi I have ever had, but I was definitely not worth the price. How do you have things on the menu, but not on the order form? Took forever to get my order in, the guy behind the counter had to come retrieve our order form, took way too long to get the appetizers we ordered, we didn't even get half of the rolls we ordered and specifically had to ask for stuff that is supposed to be a no brainer..... probably not ever going back there....

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Love this place. I usually go when there is hardly anyone else there. I see that parking lot packed quite often as I live nearby. Great food. A great off the beaten track, family-run sushi bar! Definitely will go back and I am a self-confirmed sushi conisseur!! Not very busy, possibly because of the poor parking availability and, also, past businesses in that location have had a bad name from my understanding! Worth the time and great for those that are watching their budget!
