I'm happy. This was the best pizza I've ever had. And I don't say that lightly as I'm a pizza connoisseur with 30 years on the job. 🤫 If you want pizza, Italian food at it's finest, then look no further.

New place (probably still working out some kinks) but delicious food and great service. Had the Crab Tortellacci and even though it came out on the colder side it was really great. Also tried the Chicken Pesto Gnocchi, and while it sounds generic it was unique enough to be new and traditional enough to be what you want in a gnocchi. Both are highly recommended, especially the crab! On the down side, the Tiramisu was pretty generic - dry lady fingers and hardly any of that boozy coffee flavor that makes tiramisu so good (Zozo's still owns the crown in Reno).

Amazing food and service. Try the short rib! I would not order the pizza again, but perhaps it was a personal preference. Very crispy and savory.

First visit tonight. The menu has some nice options, but we were hungry for pizza. It was very good! The crust was especially delicious. The service was great, too. We definitely plan to go back. Update: we ate there again a couple of nights ago. Had the mussels and shrimp appetizers, salads, and a pizza, bread pudding and tiramisu desserts. Everything was fantastic. One of the best meals I've had in Reno! This place is a treasure, I recommend you go next time you're in midtown.

OK, I absolutely love this place! The pizzas are amazing, the pastas are awesome, and the staff is so nice! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Plan to wait, as it’s a small restaurant and it’s usually busy. Monaciello has been an amazing addition to Reno, and I cannot wait to go back. Don’t miss it!!

This is a nice little Italian restaurant in midtown Reno. Small and busy on a Saturday night. The food orders did take a while to come out but they were delicious when arrived. Service could have been better, but our problem was fixed relatively quickly. Will definitely return here to try other options and their pizza choices.

Wonderful food, delightful service. The mediteranian salad was excellent. The "new age" veggie pizza was really good too. We'll be back for both. (The "trouble maker" blended red wine was really good too.

I'm giving 3 stars only because the food was decent and the staff was pretty cool. Other than that it was rough. The prices are pretty high for what you get here. This place amounts to an upscale pizza joint. They dont take reservations, so if you do decide to go, especially with a larger group, you can expect a wait time of about an hour. The place is tiny, about the size of a small living room, so they ask you to wait in the small bar next door to it (mind you this bar has zero beer on tap). The wait for the food was another hour. The portion sizes are tiny, save for the pizza. When the food finally came, it was decent, but certainly not worth the pricing and had no indication that it was in any way locally sourced. I would bet microwaved frozen food. The service was good, but we're talking a single waiter, single manager, single chef. It's a really small operation. The restrooms are shared with the bar next door and are absolutely disgusting. It's what you would imagine at a small dive bar. My girlfriend couldn't use the restroom because she was treated with the sight of two young ladies throwing up in the sink as soon as she opened the door. If the place is empty and you happen to be hungry and walking by, sure, give it a shot. Baring that scenario, you would have better luck at most other places in town, even within walking distance.
