Great egg benedicts and corn beef hash! Usually not too long of a wait. No outdoor seating and they don't take any reservations.

Ample, tasty portions make this a definite go to for South Reno folks. Fresh squeezed Orange Juice? Oh yes they do - so thirst quenching! Great food, service and value. We thoroughly enjoy this neighborhood treat!

Delicious food, huge portions and great value! Menu has been updated since older posts. Biscuits and gravy has great flavor with sausage in it. Omelets are large and hearty. Kids meals are big enough for most adults too!

The sunrise cafe has a very nice quiet atmosphere and was moderately busy. The wait staff was very polite, friendly, and quick. My wife and I noticed there were no children in the restaurant and there was no kids menu. The food was good cooked to perfection. The omelettes were pretty large compared to other breakfast restaurants I’ve been to. The food presentation was beautiful, and arranged as you would expect at a higher end restaurant. Price for the food would be $$$. For 4 adults breakfast cost me $75. At our table we had: -biscuits and gravy. They were easily the best I have ever had from a any diner or restaurant. -under the sea omelette -lobster omelette. The lobster omelette was large. At 6’1” and 200 lbs. I could not finish it. The only complaint would be the lobster omelette has asparagus in it, and there seemed to use quite a bit of the fibrous end of the asparagus. Overall, I will definitely be returning here.

First time. Nice big breakfast with generous portions. Really like the chili Reno and things that came with it. Also liked wheat toast and the hashbrowns. As Previously mentioned, the orange juice is really good too! Good Service and they kept my coffee cup full. Will be back

Expect great portions for the price. I keep forgetting the sides. Come hungry, otherwise expect to ask for a to-go box. They messed up my eggs for one order, and they corrected quickly. The servers are very pleasant, and the atmosphere is simple and not to take away from the dishes the cooks (chef's) serve. And I can not forget the orange juice that just tastes like you have bitten into a very juicy orange in a very slender tall glass for breakfast. Thank you guys.

First time here and today they were out of the smoked chicken sausage, and they missed a few order specs like; chocolate chips in the pancakes, and salsa, BUT they caught the mistakes and corrected them quickly. The banana rum waffles are the best I've had in town, especially since they are willing to sub any fruit in place of the bananas, and the house-made biscuits are perfect. The execution coming off the griddle is among the best in town, but the staff need to read back orders and ensure that requested items like salsa and substituted items are understood and come out to the table the first time. Overall the service was good. I appreciate how patient the staff were with us when we'd tell them the orders were slightly incorrect. I would give this 4.25 stars if i could. Excellent food, good service, but I need to come back to see if they catch any errors before they come to the plate. Definitely worth driving out of your way for. I SHALL return.
