Ugh we had amazing tapas for lunch on their patio...the guac with smoked salmon and roe was excellent, the queso fonditto (sp?) Was amazing that came with wild mushrooms, chorizo and handmade bluecorn tortillas. I asked for a spicy, mezcal drink and the waiter said 'say no more' and brought me this incredible habenero ,fresh lime juice margarita on the rocks. I was very impressed by the service, the food, and the drinks.
Love their mezcal. And the drinks are amazing! Just had the new lv mar and loved it! Great place great friendly staff.

We went in for a lunch date and at first, we were spooked by the emptiness. Perhaps it was a previous gem going in decline? The current reviews were great but somehow it felt deserted. Of course, yes, there is the pandemic but still it's at the heart of Redwood City.
Be not afraid. The food was fabulous. The ceviche arrived first and it really burst into flavors. It fit perfectly with the plantain chips. The beef empanadas could've used a bit thinner dough but nevertheless flavorful. Lobster bisque was done Mexican style which was a jazzy twist to a classic. And the papas with ham on top also surprised in an interesting way.
This tapas joint is bursting with flavor and character. This is not your typical fusion Mexican place. The chef really is trying to make a unique statement unapologetically. He/she is putting it out there and is proud of it. The atmosphere is colorful, just like its food. The stucco fisherman's village vibe with modern cocktail lounge somehow strikes chord.
It was a great experience and we'll be returning shortly.
Hugh quality tapas, drinks, and Mexican themed offerings located in beautiful downtown Redwood City. They offer plenty of seafood, small plates, and the drinks are simply amazing.
They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at this establishment. We were especially impressed by the service. At night, this is one of the best places to party. They have a dance floor and play salsa, reggaetón, and other themes.
It’s a nice sports bar with great options for tapas! Located in Redwood City downtown, this area is vibrant. Plenty of street parking is available. I forgot to click food’s picture on the table but I took away from leftover. Fish tacos are excellent. I usually hate fish tacos as it’s difficult to get decent ones around. But they had put together a decent one with perfectly cooked fish. Great to pair up with drinks!
Amazing Latin fusion food - both tasty, and beautifully presented! Nice outdoor dining area in the pedestrian zone in downtown Redwood City, great for a sunny day. Indoor dining area is also nice, and usually has a game on a TV by the bar. Impressive and creative cocktail menu. Great service. Make sure to check out the lunch special combos if you are going during that window. Overall, a little pricey, but you ARE getting what you pay for.
Absolutely amazing spot. Super happy with our Easter Brunch dine in spot. The food is exceptional and the service rocks. Please try everything that you can fit in your stomachs. Will be back soon.
Our service was excellent but I wasn't crazy about the tapas. They had a salsa that was excellent. Some members in our group loved the drink selection.
This place is fantastic for everything. Brilliant cocktails, great ceviche, just super different flavors in whatever you get. Will certainly go back.
